Beware of this company
Beware of this company. I am extremely disappointed and baffled by my recent experience with Gobiomed. I placed an order for a medical post-operative garment on May 22, paying for expedited shipping. I received no updates for 26 days, and my item was only shipped after I reached out on June 17. When the product finally arrived, 33 days later, it was late and significantly misrepresented.
When I attempted to discuss these issues with the company, the representative made false claims that I could have canceled the order on June 19, two days after the item had already shipped (according to USPS Tracking History). Additionally, the representative cited a 5-10 day processing policy, which cannot be found on their website nor mentioned in my purchase confirmation. Their website stated they ship the same day. Even if such a policy existed, the item should have shipped by June 6 at the latest.
To return the item, I would have to pay for shipping, despite the company not adhering to their policies. They also stated I would only get a partial refund. The representative claimed the item was out of stock when I ordered it, which was never communicated to me. They then falsely accused me of ordering the wrong size and using their severe shipping delays as an excuse to return the product.
The company rep refused to review the documentation I submitted (payment confirmation, USPS tracking history, autogenerated shipping notification, and policies from their website), ignored the misrepresentation of the product, failure to ship on time, and refused to take responsibility for their mistakes. The rep twisted the timeline of events and made threatening claims.
I had to open a dispute and spend several hours proving my case just to get my money back. Buyer beware. As a medical professional, I find this company’s behavior appalling. It has now been 45 days, and I just want to be done with them. I strongly advise others to avoid purchasing from Gobiomed to avoid similar issues.
