My nice year old daughter Michèle is blood cancer survivor which is called leukemia. Although her cancer is in remission, she has lasting effects from the chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
Michèle has been with the Kids Cancer Connection organization since she was 5 years old. Through their unique and sensitive programs, she has the opportunity to talk with and interact with other kids who also have lasting effects due to cancer treatment.
This allows our daughter to see that she is not alone and gives her the opportunity to open up and connect with others at a very private emotional level.
I just can't say enough about Kids Cancer Connection, the organization, its staff of volunteers and the services they provide are the absolute best. Please help Kids Cancer Connection to help others children like Michèle!
