Both guys that I dealt with were extremely nice but their ability to fix the issue with my air conditioning was not good at all. I actually dealt with the issue from April thru October with no success. Literally, they were in my house every week or every other week that whole time. 1st time I had a leak but they didn’t know how bad of a leak. Charged me $270, when they returned they say a drop of oil or something and told me the coil needed to be replaced. Charged me $1500.00. Every time the problem continued. Every time I used the air the coil would ice over. As I said this continued until October. In October they came in and said we”ve found the problem. It’s the outside coil and it will cost $2000. I’m retired and on Social Security so not rich as you well know. With holidays coming up and physically sick from dealing with it I was done until hot weather returned. Now had I known I was gonna have to spend nearly $4000 I might have needed to consider new outside unit. ???
Why didn’t they check the outside coils earlier? They swear the inside coil still needed to be replaced but I find it crazy that as soon as it was replaced it wasn’t fixed! Same issue continued. What did they do all that time you ask….they added Freon but I will say they didn’t charge me. I’m not sure how a company rated a 5 can miss an issue like that for so long. Now here I am again facing the issue of getting my air conditioner repaired. Friends say I should call the Attorney General’s office and Small Claims Court. I’m so throughly worn out, disappointed and disgusted. I would not recommend them unless you have a super simple issue to fix.
