AVOID PassMeFast.co.uk (PassMeFast) at all costs
AVOID PassMeFast.co.uk (PassMeFast) is a trading name of Star Genie Limited. PassMeFast looks like a driving school or driving instructor. However, they are, IN FACT, just middle-man who mislead people with false statements (they can try to deny that OR argue against it like they do when other people leave reviews... But I have the call recording and transcript with their "sales agent". They make the enquiries with driving instructors (by cold calling them) and book the driving test using the exact dates available if you go directly to the DVSA Driving Test Booking website. Still, PassMeFast will charge you a "premium" for this, which costs more than the test booking fee...
It should also be strongly noted that after I informed them (within 24-36 hours) AND evidenced their sales agent providing misleading information, they still tried to retain the £150 deposit payment until I informed them that I would have to take legal action against them in court.
This was after I had formally requested a refund. Still, they have an unfair contractual clause in their terms and conditions (which you only see and agree to AFTER PAYMENT if done via the phone when creating your PassMeFast Portal Login)...
Now, even after agreeing to a refund on 07/03/3024, they are informing me that their finance team will not process the refund until 25/03/2024, which further adds to my terrible experience with PassMeFast.
I would not recommend this company. Speak to local driving instructors in your area and use the DVSA website to book your test. Do NOT use PassMeFast.co.uk (PassMeFast) because they do not manage complaints well. They will try to keep your deposit even if you have been missold, and the whole experience with them has been both time-consuming and emotionally draining.
