Unacceptable poor workmanship and installation from Dream Doors NZ West Auckland Franchise whilst under the ownership and management of Richard Hooper between Sept - Nov'2022

Facts:
From Day 1 I had nothing but unacceptable issues with this project:
Delays
Poor communication
Faulty Workmanship; poor workmanship & large unprofessional benchtop joints, taps, and benches not installed square, waterproofing sealing not done, scratches on bench and sinks before installation
The manager/Dream Doors NZ did not take responsibility or accountability for the unacceptable overall project and workmanship and made all excuses as to why they are not liable to repair under warranty
This is a total breach under the Fair Trading Act (FTA), NZ Consumers Protection Act and the NZ Commerce Commission
Refer qualified review on My No Cowboys Review of Dream Doors NZ and a lot of other very negative poor reviews of this so-called business operation
As of 31 October'2023, this is what the cabinetry looks like today; completely failed due to moisture damage which occurred from day 1 of installation.
Simply it is totally unacceptable to think that I spent in excess of $8k for a quality kitchen refurb that has not even last 12 months !!!
I only dealt with this company due to their advertised warranty terms for peace of mind:
Dream Doors Nationally prominently advertises a "10-year parts warranty on all kitchen joinery & products" post-completion, providing customers with the assurance of a high-quality product
Beware as due to my personal experience I strongly advise you to stay well clear of Dream Doors NZ as they have no quality assurance procedures or disciplines in place, or professional business acumen
I am now seeking legal action via my solicitor, jointly with the Consumers Protection and Commerce Commission
