I was treated so badly
I have a severe dental abscess and Im currently visiting my daughter I live in Indiana and at this time I have to have dental surgery do to a really severe car wreck that left me with a lot of broken teeth. This is the worst dental abscess I have ever had. It’s so bad it’s hurting all the way to my throat, ear, eye and back of my head and not to mention my whole jaw bone. I went because my pain level was a 10 I told them I have never had one this bad in my life. My pain is as bad as the time I had a kidney stone. I think the only thing that ever hurt worse was when I had a baby. I described that it was worse than it was this morning and I had been taking antibiotics and it feels way worse. They gave me no x-rays looked in my mouth for 15 seconds and told me they do nothing about dental problems. Dental problems can a have severe health implications if not diagnosed correctly. It can infect your brain or heart and give you sepsis. On top of that they treated me like a drug seeker when the only time I was on pain medication was 13 years ago until I got a hip replacement and then I quit taking it all together. My blood pressure was sky high because I was in so much pain and it felt like I couldn’t catch my breath or be still. I asked if she would just treat my pain tonight so I could go home and go to sleep because I haven’t slept in 36 hours and she was rude and ugly about it. It was a total of 10 minutes I was there and bow they want to charge my insurance for the visit. I’m contacting a pain advocate and getting in touch with a lawyer. I have never been treated so bad in my whole life. You have a right to pain control while you are being seen in the ER. If they ended up not catching something like it spreading to my jaw i am going to contact a lawyer about that too. I will never ever go there again. The doctor was a female and her last name started with a M. If I was a druggy I wouldn’t have had to go there in the first place.
