Beware of this place! We signed a contract in Sept 2023 for a custom built home and Joel said the plan would be completed in 3 months. We have followed up multiple times with in-person visits, phone calls and emails (which Joel never responded to any of these). Yesterday he said he hasn't worked on it because he was trying to drum up new business, trying to get work with the City of Houston, he closed all of December, and has an employee who always calls in sick. These are all of his lame excuses and still couldn't give me a timeframe of completion, kept saying I don't know when I will finish. We are almost at the 4+ month time frame, and still no consideration for the customer. Run the other way and go find another designer because you will never get your project completed with him. I finally had enough and pulled the project from him and he charged for 16hrs of doing nothing! Super unprofessional and Joel doesn't appreciate that the customer is the one keeping him in business.
