For the first time in my life, I ordered flooring online due to on-going knee surgery.
I received no delivery date or time informing me when the order would be delivered. Today I recieved a random knock on the door, the delivery driver and the flooring - Brilliant.
The no so brilliant part, he unloads the wooden pallet from the van, puts it outside the house on the public footpath and then LEAVES.
Leaving my £250+ order in the street, on a used public footpath, where it sat for three hours until was able to organise two young men to help move and carry the order into my home.
Sent a complaint through email, to then recieve this reply from a member of staff -

Firstly regarding the delivery date, Our Terms and Conditions state your Standard weekday Delivery will normally arrive between the hours of 9am & 5:30pm Monday To Friday. You are able to supply your preferred day by email or contacting us on our Free phone number.
Ours T&Cs do also state - We may use a third-party delivery company, and as such all deliveries are kerb side only. They are only able to deliver flooring products to the outside of your home.
Along with this our Heading does advise we offer Contact Free Delivery.
If we had been made aware of your situation we could have requested a driver arrive to provide a bit more help in arranging the pallet to be put into the garden etc, However the drivers are not insured to enter any properties which is why we advise this on our T&Cs.
We do hope you find help in getting your goods into your property.

Well Courtney/Sales Flooring Direct, more fool you, because I will certainly not be ordering from this company again and would strongly discourage anyone else from doing so.
