Christian? It’s on the sign out front. It’s not what’s inside.
This was the worst elementary school experience we have had, and calling it "Christian" is a stretch because the sign out front does not match what goes on inside. The building is old and worn down, and while a small number of staff genuinely seem to care and exhibit Christian values, most of our interactions were awful, especially when it came to our child's 504 plan and ADHD and ADD needs, which were pushed aside and not supported. (Still, straight A’s and honor roll. ) So beware when you see these things listed as recognized and understood, because they are not. The principal was cruel rather than firm, and the environment felt more like a social club and clique than a school. I wish I had trusted my gut from the start instead of giving it a chance for 2 years. We were seeking a Christian based education . Jesus would not approve.
They are a ACSI Member but they are NOT ACSI accredited. They are a 501c 3, so financial information is public. Last filing shows 16% decrease in revenue. Most of the revenues are from tuition. You can do the math. Want to go to a school board meeting? That’s not offered either. You don’t even know who is on the board.
Their google reviews have been disabled. Red flag there as well.
Do your homework. These are our personal experiences and observations. I hope that yours are better.
