The Homefront®: The Revolution Experience.
Where do I start? Dambuster, you released a game which is practically unfinished. The story and atmosphere of Homefront®: The Revolution is enjoyable, and the weapon conversion system is a cool idea. Unfortunately, the game is held back by technical issues, inconsistent trophy tracking, disappearing objectives, and numerous bugs that make completion frustrating.
The Pascal Trainyard dynamo generator doesn't work half the time. I had to start a new game in order to make it work.
I looked at a KPA Sniper and wanted to go up to take them out for the trophy "Take Me Out". I looked away for ONE SECOND, and they disappeared instantly. Off the minimap as well.
There's a bug that removes some of the audio, such as footsteps and dialogue, forcing a shutdown of the game for it to fix.
Also, enemies tend to load in and spawn in front of me, the fact that there is no FOV Slider is ruining the experience a bit and the fact that you haven't released an update in almost a decade makes me feel the game never reached the level of polish it needed.
If you make the aiming a bit better, make the game run on current gen consoles for better FPS, fix the bugs and add an FOV Slider, together with more accessibility settings, this game would easily be 5 stars.
I understand the studio has moved on to newer projects, but it's unfortunate that this title was left with issues that still affect players.
I want to enjoy Homefront®: The Revolution, but I simply cannot. The Platinum Trophy is an absolutely miserable experience, and some trophies make me feel like a monkey in a circus.
Sincerely,
Someone who spent 40 hours to get the Platinum.
