I would give zero stars, but you have to give one just to post a story here. I am a condo owner in Chicago, and Mcnitt is heading a kitchen plumbing project in our building. I travel a lot, so I am not always present to see what's going on. I came back for the July 4th weekend, and the contractors had just put my kitchen items all over my living room, on my bed, on the floor, just anywhere. Dishes on the floor, just a mess. The worst thing was that they didn't restore power in the kitchen to my refrigerator after disconnecting a stovetop. Lo and behold, I came back to a big warm metal box of soggy rotten food. This is easily $300 worth of damage. I went ahead and disposed of the garbage and cleaned the refrigerator as best I could. Still, there is a lingering rotten food odor. This means the refrigerator needs replacing. This will cost $400. I contacted Robin Johnson the project manager and all she could offer was $150 gift card. This is ridiculous. She saw the photos of all the food and came up with this paltry offer. I am still trying to get a hold of their insurance company to file a formal property damage claim.
