Morale among disabled and elderly residents has been low since Haven Park took ownership 3 years ago. The lot rent is increasing substantially every year and some residents on a fixed income who are unable to work, have no way to increase their income. They have had to cut essentials like air conditioning, medication, food in order to meet land rental costs. Unfortunately their houses have not sold for over 2 years to free them from this situation nor can the houses be relocated. It's very unfortunate. I am sad to see seniors scared and less able to enjoy their remaining years. There is a disconnect between corporate America's attitude and the needs of people with restricted financial means. And in Arizona, unfortunately, there is no governmental protection for the vulnerable elderly who are disabled. I pray for a solution comes that protects the lives of these residents.
