Delays, excuses and not resolved as promised.
I bought a book online; it arrived damaged due to insufficient packaging. I reported the damage to their support team, and they said they would send a replacement. After 12 days it hadn’t arrived, so I contacted them again and was told that there had been a delay in processing at their warehouse. When the replacement finally arrived, it too was damaged having been packaged in the same way as the first one. I again reported it and after another 12 days had to contact them again to ask for a reply. I eventually received a reply stating,” Regarding issuing a replacement: we cannot in good conscience promise a third copy will arrive to you without the previous damages you've experienced.” They processed a refund and said they would send me another copy as a token of their goodwill. A week later I received another email stating: “ I’ve finally reached a conclusion on this with our team. Technically, Rocky Nook does not possess rights to sell or distribute the book within the United Kingdom. That does not explain why the two copies arrived damaged, but it does explain why we cannot have our UK distributor ship you a replacement copy from their warehouses, like I initially thought we might be able to do." A poor excuse for going back on their gesture.
After 11 weeks I have a refund and no book!
