Had a weird experience here. My daughter and I usually buy from this store and didn’t have a problem before. My daughter works for the DEC and I work for the civil service, so we are both professionally dressed. We both had purses that were decent size, but the guy immediately looked at us and stated we had to put our bags in front of him on the counter. I wouldn’t have mind if that was the policy, so I asked him when did we start having to do that, we’ve been here multiple times. He said oh the policy is new and it just started now, I said that’s weird, he said well new customers. Now I don’t know if anyone else experienced this, but it absolutely rubbed me the wrong way to the point I will never spend my money here again. I don’t know if he’s like this all the time, but this was MY experience as a black woman with a black daughter, it rubbed both of us the wrong way.
