Buyer Beware
We would assign Garrison Creek Construction negative stars if that were possible, based upon our lengthy experience with them as our builder, hired to construct our new home in Huntsville, Ontario. They did not complete the project, which was started in January of 2021. We finally had to abandon our dream and sell the home partially completed "as is" in November 2024, incurring substantial loss, despite providing them, in advance, approximately three quarters of the total cost to build.
We lost many hundreds of thousands of dollars as a result of our association with them. As of this writing, they have not provided any compensation and in fact refuse to return our calls, texts and emails.
We would like to inform other potential clients of our experience with Garrison Creek Construction. The two owners are Chris Hill and David Austin. Despite initially believing we had a good relationship with them, our resulting experience could not have proved worse.
If you are considering working with them, rather than providing our thoughts on Garrison Creek Construction, we would prefer to provide you with the facts from which you can draw your own conclusions. We will provide a timeline for the almost four years with them, all of our invoices with dates, descriptions and amounts, sequential pictures showing dates and work completed, copies of our contracts, both design and construction and the letter outlining their terms for the termination of our contract. This letter alone may provide insight into Chris Hill and David Austin, principals, Garrison Creek Construction Inc.
