Unreliable Service and Misleading Pricing
The contractor changed the price four times within five minutes. He initially tried to charge $200 for weed spray, but I informed him that I already had the spray on hand. He then attempted to add $150 to rake the stones in my side yard, even though I had clearly stated that I only needed weed removal and leaf cleanup, a job that could reasonably be completed in two hours or less.
He originally agreed to perform the cleanup for $350, but later increased the price to $450 and then $550, claiming he needed to hire two additional workers. All of these discussions were captured on my exterior security cameras. After agreeing to the $350 price and scheduling the work for the following day, he failed to show up. When I contacted him, he responded, "I am sorry, I tried to find guys to help me with tomorrow, but they didn't wanna work."
