HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - DO NOT ATTEND
The entire experience was extremely disappointing and we did not get what we paid for.
The emails sent on 3/11/26 and 6/12/26 said: Registration will go from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. Camp drills will run from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with water breaks in between. We will have water to hydrate all campers, but we suggest campers to bring a reusable water bottle as well so your camper can hydrate as often as they'd like throughout the camp.
The registration did not open the gates until 4:20pm. The line was so long that we did not make it to the front until 5:15pm. We were then told there were only youth small shirts left. When I said this size would not fit my children, I was told I should have been there at 2:00pm when the gates opened. When I said the email stated 4pm and the gates did not open until 4:20pm, the woman threw the shirts at me and said, “This is what you get.”
The children were not called on to the field until 5:45pm. Hundreds of children (mostly teens) were in a huge pack around the entrance to the field. They started by calling the four and five year olds onto the field. It was ridiculously hard to get the little ones through the mass of teens crowded around the gate. When it got time for my 10 year old daughter to get in, I literally had to carve a path for her through the crowd of teens for her to get in. Then we were told she had to have her shirt on to enter. I explained the shirt didn’t fit her. Then they said she just needs to carry it. So we had to carve our way back out, get her shirt, and carve our way back in. It was so overwhelming and hard to do that my daughter was now in tears and not wanting to go in.
By 6:10 pm all the kids were now on the field. The next 10 minutes were spent getting the children into lines sitting down. At 6:20pm, Puka Nakua and Kyren Williams finally showed up.
Then parents who purchased the field upgrade were called onto the field. Kids were then individually called over to meet their parents to get a picture with. All the kids sitting on the field watched for 15 minutes as the families all took their family photos with Puka and Kyron. At 6:35pm, the coaches were then called over to get their picture taken with them.
Puka and Kyren finally approached the sitting children at 6:39 pm. This caused chaos because all of the children who had now been sitting for 20 minutes (in the heat) rushed to them.
Actual drills started at approximately 6:47 p.m. – 1 hour and 47 minutes late!
I counted an approximate 1 coach to 30-40 campers ratio depending on age, which meant at each station the children only got to do the drill one or two times before they rotated (I have pictures to prove it).
Some of the “coaches” were high school players who went to the high school that the event was held at.
My children said multiple coaches were using profanity.
The email also stated for all children to bring a reusable water bottle. However, they didn’t allow any water bottles onto the field. Instead, they used Gatorade bottles to squirt water into the kids mouths. After my children saw multiple children in their group put the water bottle on their lips, they refused to drink from it, leaving them dehydrated by the end of the camp.
To say this was an extremely disappointing experience is an understatement. My children both left upset. There were multiple ways this experience could have been improved (opening gates on time, having pictures with the celebrity done upon entry, having the right size shirts handed out that we registered for since this could be tied to the registration they scanned at the gate, having more coaches or limiting the amount of registered children, etc).
