I am a property owner. They don't deserve One Star. I would never recommend JR Rental to any property owner to take care of their property.
I had J R Rental manage my property with the same tenant for about 5 years. When it was time for a new contract for the tenant, J R Rental told us not to raise the rent because we had a older home and the market in Killeen was flooded with new one being rented. Well, we believed what was told to us. So, we ended up taking the house back.
The cleanup and the price they charged us for the cleanup was not worth it. Granted the tenant left my house in shambles and a lot of trash had to be removed. $850 deposit from the tenant was taken and $1900 for us. What we received was shorty work at it best. $600 + to clean the yard. Bamboo's growing like wide fire in my back yard. They Just cut down, not removed, just cut down the bamboo. Of course, the bamboo grew back. Bloggies of paint, where the wall was supposed be patched up. Tiles that were not cleaned, the gout looked like it was black. Shower had mole and gout in the shower was never repair. That was just on the glance as I signed to take my property back. I asked about yearly inspection on the property and I was told they give these to the tenants, but shouldn't the owner have gotten a copy of the condition of the house?
Once we started the cleaning, it was obvious that the house was not rentable. The only people that would rent it was the one's that was in it. There was serious water issue in both bathrooms. Water was leaking from the shower and under the vanity in both bathrooms. We had to get own our knees to clean the gout. The gas company would not turn on the oven. It was dangerous, it would only go from 350 degree and up. So, we had to replace the oven. The seal around the refrigerator they put in, was molded and rotten.
I am so overwhelmed by the condition J R Rental return my house in. I would never recommend them to an owner to take care of their home. All they did was collect money.
