Review; level 4 counselling in practise course
I attended a level 4 in counselling…
I attended a level 4 in counselling course, part time over 2 yrs. Completed and passed exam, assignments and 100 hr client counselling placements.
Failed the case study after re submitting. Decided not to appeal, but made formal complaint instead.
It transpired most points were partially upheld with lack of support but standardisation issue with marking denied; fail rates overall over 3 yrs were 43%, 30% and 38% from 2024, '25 & '26, respectively, that 's appauling!
They've raised the bar way too high to pass students, in my opinion. So beware if your a prospective student on any such course. May not be worth the assault on your time, effort and wellbeing to even bother to apply.
