Please avoid this company at all costs. I am writing this not out of anger, but out of exhaustion and concern for other homeowners.
I rented a 20-yard dumpster for normal home renovation debris — drywall, cabinets, wood, nothing unusual. Somehow, I was later told the container weighed 18 tons. I still cannot understand how a 20-yard residential dumpster could realistically hold that kind of weight. No clear proof or convincing explanation was ever provided.
Then came demands for nearly $3,873 in additional charges tied to weight fees that made no sense. When I questioned the numbers, the situation became even more stressful. The container remained on my property for months while fees, collection pressure, and lien threats continued to grow.
What hurts most is realizing how little protection ordinary homeowners have in situations like this. I contacted multiple agencies for help. Even the New York Attorney General’s office accepted the complaint, yet no meaningful intervention happened. The BBB contacted the company more than once, but nothing changed, and my review was never published.
At some point, you stop feeling like a customer and start feeling trapped in a system where paying feels easier than fighting, even when you truly believe something is wrong.
I do not understand how experiences like this are allowed to continue. No family should live for months with this kind of pressure hanging over their home.
