I have lived in Pickett Place in Garland for 40 years, I grew up there and now reside there with my daughter. In the last couple of years 4 Sight Property management has taken over as the management company for the HOA. Since they have taken over, our HOA dues have been doubled almost tripled from the original amount we paid. They have no respect for the elderly or non-English speaking residents that live in our community. They do not allow fair election of the board of directors, actually this past meeting in March did not allow the election of a new board of directors be strong arming the meeting and dismissing the meeting when the residents wanted an in-person election. There is no clarity for what they are spending the resident's money on; they do not allow residents to have a voice and on multiple occasions tell residents to sit down and shut up that they are not important and cannot speak at a meeting.
They have spent 10,000 dollars on parking lot striping that was not voted on by the residents. In less than a year the striping is peeling up and needs to be repainted.
They have spent money on a lawn care service that was not voted on, that only half does their job. The lawn care service skips lawns leaving them un-mowed, others they are only half mowed, and residents have to go behind them and re-mow their own lawns, and they do not blow off the grass clipping leaving a mess.
They have spent money on a tree trimming service and they trees were horribly trimmed and left lacking beauty.
They have spent 30,000 dollars and 3 security lights, that were not voted on and not needed, that money could have been used to fix the lights that we already have.
We have security gates making us a gated community, but the gates have been sitting open unused for months because they are spending money on unvoted things and pay themselves.
Todd Gweshin is the President and CEO of this company and his is hateful and unprofessional, this company is unethical.
