I went to stopwatch urgent care in Phenix City AL for a laceration on my arm. The staff was great and sutures were put in. Since I was from out of town I went by their office to see if they were ready for removal. One of the staff came to the desk to look and confirmed they were not ready. I jokingly asked if there would be a charge for this since they told me on my initial visit that there would be no charge for removal since I already paid my copay. Now I am being harassed for another $100 even though I was never formally seen nor sutures removed. After confronting billing on the phone they came back and said that they would send a dispute form which I had to fill out! Why do I need to go to this extra effort and what kind of money grab operation are they running?
