Not a computer tech
Nice person, but is not a computer tech. Was needing to upgrade an older computer to Windows 11. Long story short, after telling me my computer would need a new mother board in order to load Windows 11 he found some work around that allowed him to load it. The "fix" won't allow security updates to install and when you try to reload Windows 11 in the "fix it" section, it says the machine won't support W11. Hot and cold with replying and in spite of numerous screen shots to support my concerns, and a letter from Dell support, he blows it off as "sounds like they're trying to sell you a new computer."
Wasted my money. Lesson learned. Be careful what you take to him.
