NOT recommended
Our Labrador Retriever spent Wednesdays at CCC for a very long time. We had no strong feelings, positive or negative, until we picked her up recently and discovered that she was limping. We called to find out what had happened and were told that they knew nothing. Additionally, we learned that, unbeknownst to us, she has not been permitted to play with other dogs and has been in a crate with occasional checks and ‘ball throws’ from staff. This is allegedly because she doesn’t ‘make or keep’ friends. What???
1. She is a friendly Labrador.
2. She attends a wonderful daycare on Mondays and Fridays where the staff and other dogs love her. She plays beautifully (videos and photos also prove this) there.
3. The only reason she was taken to CCC was for socialization and fun play (the other daycare did not have Wednesday availability). Why were we never told that she was not allowed to play with other dogs until we called about her limping?
We are VERY upset and would absolutely NOT recommend this business to anyone who loves their dog.
