THIS IS A MAN OF GOODWILL AND STRONG CHARACTER YET HUMBLE…ONE THAT CAN BE COUNTED ON!…HIS WORDS FILLED WITH CONVICTION AND GOOD AS GOLD!
We laid out our concerns and wishes for the sale and disposition of the empty lot…. where once stood our dream retirement home…. We lived there for 35 years…then Hurricane Helene changed our plans…the neighborhood we raised our children in and the neighbors we came to specially love had to be placed on the pages of history for us.
Robert, too….was one of our neighbors…though we got to know each other much better after
contracting with him!
We already knew he came with impeccable credentials…”word gets around”… esp when it was other colleagues in the sales arena making glowing remarks about him…
…those very folks in real estate sales on the beaches suggested that we go with Robert… especially, since we had a prime lot and had been told so by many in the business and neighborhood.
Robert in addition to selling our lot and promising that we would be very happy when it was sold…..
”Lived up to that promise in spades”!
His first goal was… to please us…to sell the lot regardless if he ended up building for the future owner or not! There were no requirements that a buyer had to build with him…we asked him to put his builders sign on the lot next to the “for sale” sign because we hoped that a buyer would at least ask about his company and why they should consider him…there were no arrangements made between he and us that bound us to him or he to us…we just felt it would be a great service to the buyer if they had someone knowledgeable enough to help them work through the maze which was the aftermath of Hurricane Helene!
THAT HE DID!!!
All along we wanted him to be the contractor that would build the dream home for the
New owners…folks that we were so happy to sell to…folks that would appreciate that we wanted them to be as happy BUYING AND then BUILDING with Robert…
We had decided long before the catastrophic event that if our home were destroyed by mother nature…we would not rebuild …that it would be a message to move on and thank God for all the wonderful years we had there…If the future meant staying and rebuilding we knew after getting to know Robert that it would be he we would trust with the new home!
Yes, Robert is a top flight “Master Home Builder!
Trudi and I cannot stress highly enough that if you have a need to move on from your present home on the beaches or elsewhere in the community that having a master turnkey seller / builder in the person of Robert Lord representing you…that you too will ultimately say…
SO HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND HIM!!!
I know that in our case both Trudi and I feel that way and I truly believe our new friends and owners of the property to whom we sold it …..will feel the same way as they progress toward their dream home in North Redington Beach!
Yes, we wanted to sell our home but we wanted to sell to someone that would appreciate our past lives there…price was important, yes…however, selling to someone who cared about the legacy that our presence in that neighborhood left was a driving force for selecting Robert Lord as our agent! The folks that we originally purchased our home from who were our immediate neighbor…. in 1989… regarded us like family creating a lifelong bond that to this day we treasure dearly!
We pray that your new friends and neighbor will enjoy the same reward Trudi and I have been blessed with!
