Basic With Frustration/Overpriced
I have had my child enrolled for quite some time. The pros are that the studio is consistently clean and the staff generally are kind and helpful. The cons are that if you would like to enroll your child casually, as this studio is not "higher end", you will be met with grand rules that make it stressful for parents. $25 fee for a payment decline (not a late payment). You MUST reserve on their app before every class, after two times forgetting to reserve, they will not be permitted to participate. Missing two classes in a row will make them ineligible for recitals they practice for all year unless you pay to take your child to the doctors and get a note causing co-pays. Since it is a "pay what you can" studio, parents will be charged exorbitant amounts for the above mentioned plus a recital at the Fillmore of all places only for the routines to often be uncoordinated and sloppy which would be the fault of the teachers. This is a neighborhood, basic dance studio with general teachers who are not former major choreographers, and the delusions of grandeur from the owner are obvious. Only choose this studio if you would like a starter place for your child and if they truly are pursuing dance.
