Go woke (and rude), go broke.
I was a regular patron for years, even though they were more expensive than competitors. They recently decided to make very public their woke politics and pronouns, sending me an email espousing their call to ‘resistance’ to laws with an odd, random pattern. Friends and family (actual patrons of this company) attempted to leave negative reviews, and at least 6 of them were blocked/removed. There were no community guideline violations, just negative reviews that the ladies apparently didn’t like. They have dozens of positive reviews (many admit never purchasing here) but no negatives. It’s clear they have manipulated ratings for years….I can’t stand cheaters. When my review was removed, it was followed by a harassing email from Christine that the loss of my patronage was “not the flex I think. Move along.” We have, and we will never look back. I have found many superior products at better prices elsewhere, without the rude condescension. (I’ve attached pics of all the Gist yarn I still have…I think I was a good customer.)
