No Duty of Care

I participated in a trial study that required a total knee replacement at Atlanta Center for Medical Research ACMR/Cenexel 501 Fairburn Rd SW Atlanta, GA. March 31, 2025, I woke up in my room after knee replacement surgery laying on a rubber mattress in a pool of urine that was coming out of me like a faucet. I asked to have clean sheets and blanket changed. The person told me to try not to wet to bed. I should not had been removed from surgical recovery until I was conscious. When I asked why there was not a commode seat to keep from sitting almost on the floor or safety bars I was advised not having these items will assist with my recovery. I contacted Advarra the Internal Review Board assigned to this clinical trial. Advarra represents clinical participants when there are concerns. I contacted them because ACMR was nickel and diming me my compensation for participating in the trial study. I completed my last physical therapy May 9th and was owed $2k+at that time. I told them I would not participate in a final assessment until I was paid what I was owed. After I was paid June 6/2025 I was told a few weeks later that I was discharged from the study. I emailed Christy Carroll inquiring about having my final assessment with no response from ACMR. I then had Advarra contact them about the final assessment. Advarra never responded to if ACMR responded to them or not. Because of some issues I was having with my knee my PCP sent me for an ultrasound and a Baker's Cyst was identified. I once again asked Advarra to email the study about this cyst and the fact that the right side of my knee was still numb. I still received no response. Last week I went to a different research agency for a study interview. When they asked when was the last time I was in a study I told them about my knee and that it was still numb. All they could say is you need to get an attorney. ACMR and the physical therapist always told me that the numbness would go away, but that was ten months ago.
