Future individuals considering K/M Resorts of America, please take heed.
Our contract with K/M has been in effect for about 15 years. During that 15 years K/M has honored the contract (an expensive contract providing our parents with dues frozen at the contract specified $00.00 and transferable to immediate offspring at the same dues provision) Recently, K/M staff and owner have decided to reinterpret our contract to justify a Dues charge of over $300.00 per year.
When asked for justification, the owner (Kevin) just identified a minor technicality in a clause of the contract (an interpretation that we do not agree with) and said that their expenses had been going up, and since we had been using it (less than once per year on average) we should be willing to pay dues. No explanation for why K/M did honor the contracted frozen $00.00 dues for 15 years.
Do not expect K/M to honor their contracts!!!!!! They will use any excuse (even poor ones) to violate their contract.. Find another camp club to invest in.
