Bod is out of control. Business usually conducted poorly
I’ve lived in the neighborhood 8 years, beautiful homes, quiet.. for the most part. The Board of directors conduct business poorly, financial decisions are based on the perspective of 4-6 ppl rather than consult the entirety of the co-owners. The only time co-owners are notified of something is when they want increases to dues, fines, or penalties. They help very little if you’re not a friend of the board. They drive around in each others vehicles and literally point out any issue they feel is an issue rather than go by the standards of conduct. Rules do not apply across the board. A co-owner took it upon themselves to change others’ garage light bulbs, fell because they walked on a crack in the road, they sued, some facts are missing, and then we the co-owners had to pay $950 in 60 days with standing association fees or face penalties. I’d a remaining balance of $500 that has ballooned to $1,500 because they are suing but don’t even communicate with the lawyers until they want to add something on and respond days later. They restrict online payments then follow up with documents that state they have not received funds yet.
