Bad Experience
Our organization had been a TechMD client since 2020. I inherited the relationship in 2025 and, after reviewing the environment and service history, it became clear that significant gaps existed.
There was no documented disaster recovery plan in place, IT Glue documentation had not been updated since 2022, and no internet failover solution had been implemented. When an internet outage occurred, there was no contingency in place to allow staff to continue working.
SLA performance was consistently lacking. Reported outages often went unanswered for hours, and when responses were provided, assistance was limited. Communication was also poor — we were not informed when our service manager was changed.
After transitioning to a new MSP (Twintel), TechMD has withheld essential information required for continuity unless all payments are fully processed, despite being informed that payments have already been mailed. This has unnecessarily complicated the transition.
These issues appeared to worsen around the time of TechMD’s acquisition by Integris, particularly in the areas of communication and post-transition support. Due to the lack of proactive planning, outdated documentation, missed SLAs, and ongoing communication issues, we ultimately decided to move to another provider.
Based on our experience, we would not recommend TechMD to organizations that require reliable, well-documented, and responsive managed IT services.
