Travel insurance is a complete scam. Would recommend that HK'ers avoid.
After having our trip cancelled, we bought new tickets on an alternative carrier per the travel insurance policy.
Zurich refused to honour payment, saying the flight wasn't delayed for more than six hours. Obviously it was, the flight was cancelled with the next leaving the next day!
No customer service, no replies nothing. They claim to resolve issues in 14 days but only had a reply 1.5 months later.
Extremely poor customer experience, you can never reach a claims person through the hotline 2968 2222. Rooms for improvement.
Your company really doesn't know what it means. Wait until the fourth day of 4:00 to call. Obviously not a public holiday. The so-called inquiry hotline was actually not heard at all. Also bragging about the best insurance company?

Do not buy Zurich insurance. I needed them to refund, so I filled in all the necessary documents as they requested, providing accurate information they needed, even getting a lawyer's signature to verify the information provided is accurate, and instead of refunding me immediately, they keep delaying the process, making it as hard as possible to refund. They have extremely bad business practices and customer service.
