Or around 5 USD, kids and seniors pay less (not info handy) be aware you might pay $3 usd or so for kids, 95% percent of the animals are in exhibition, also animals seem to be in very good conditions, food court is available, resting areas and great enviroment

Nice, tidy, clean, well organized. A very nice experience to travel it. Children enjoy it very much. Easy to reach due to its good location.

Animals are well taken care of. Important, they only take quetzales inside and there is one little kiosk that takes credit cards. There is a food court before getting into the zoo where you can find fast food but once inside you just have the kiosks. Some animals are free, walking on the zoo (like the peacocks and iguanas) there is a huge bird cage where you can actually interact with some beautiful birds. They give you the chance to feed the giraffes and some birds for around Q10 to Q15 (around $1 or $1.50).

Very beautiful experience inside the zoo ... the only detail that I have to highlight is that we saw in the habitat of the elephant without water ... and a very thin lion ... and all the animals waiting for their food ... and now it was after 10 a.m. ... only thanks ..

They improve it every day with new animals improvements in some trained voluntary habitats and a perfect place to have a good time with the family is not expensive.

I just can't conceive how the administration thinks it's ok to keep an animal all by himself/herself all of his/her life. Animals need the company of other animals of its species and other species if possible.

I had a great time and this was my first visit after living here for two years!! Plenty of animals to see and a reasonable entrance price, Q33 per adult. We able to see most of the animals within two hours.

I love the zoo, it is contradictory to say that I don't like to see the animals locked up but the zoo is now with very good remodeling for the different species that can be observed. Let's go to the zoo to enjoy the beauty of nature in the city environment.

Beautiful zoo! Very educational and they let you get close to some of the animals (safely)! Options for feeding giraffes and koi. Many different species of animals. I've been to the San Diego Zoo and Calgary Zoo but La Aurora zoo is the best one I've been to!
