Very nice place since you can see that the animals are well cared for, there are areas for children and for the whole family. You go once and you are left with the desire to return to visit the facilities. The most recommended are penguins and reptiles

The Aurora Zoo is a space where you can have contact with the fauna in the middle of this city so agitated (by many factors) in which we live. Your assistance is important to sign on your children people who respect nature and also helps the zoo continue its operations without inconvenience. Something very important that should be highlighted are the private tours, they are truly enjoyed.

I love la aurora zoo... It has a surprisingly large amount of animals, and you can really get up close. As we went on a private tour we fed the giraffes from our hand and got lemurs joint on us as we fed them fruit. Founded in 1924, it has a lot of history and beautiful architecture. Five stars!

An amazing, high quality zoo that I think should rank among the best! Animal enclosures we're spacious and not overcrowded, overall the animals seemed happy and active. I really enjoyed their reptile exhibit, dozens of local species rarely seen outside of the wild. There were some animals like iguanas and peacocks walking free among the grounds which is always an exciting up close experience.
We came in the afternoon on a Tuesday, all the school field trips seemed to be leaving just as we were arriving. Admission was 33Q per adult and included readmission between the park entrance/food court and the zoo itself. The park entrance had a great animal-themed playground for the kids, and a food court with about 10 options from Pollo Campero to Domino's.
If you go on a Tuesday or Sunday don't miss the giraffe feeding! A once in a lifetime experience for only 10Q!

Very entertaining, there are places to rest all the way, but the dining area is a disaster. There are not enough tables for the number of visitors, which is a real hassle. There are places where apparently you can not climb or access, but they are not marked, and when security arrives they are not friendly indicating that it is forbidden. You have to do a lot of tail for almost everything so I recommend going with comfortable shoes and a lot of patience

How beautiful the Zoo is now, well-groomed and fed animals, clean cages and all well-identified enclosures. Worth a visit, just do not forget a hat and sunscreen if the day is very bright!
