Booked the wrong time slot and they were extremely kind to switch our booking to our desired date. Ben and Tessio brought the game experience to a 10/10. Would travel to Seattle again for another escape room with them.

Went here for a birthday party and completed the ninja hacker challenge. We had a great time trying to solve the clues and managed to complete it at the last minute, which was very exciting. I would come back to try and solve another challenge! Rose was a great guide!

Even though me and my group arrived twenty or so minutes late, the guy's still let is go and do the escape room. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. With the 40 minutes that we had to complete the room, sadly we did not escape, we got a lot done. The guy's at the front desk were friendly and answered questions we had. The guy watching us was very helpful in giving is hints when we were stumped. I will definitely be back and try the other rooms.

Great activity. Our host was a great actor and guide. Played hits part we'll and the zombie was also a great actor. Well thought out situations. A bit tough to arrive but achievable. Tip. If you park in front of the building make sure to get as close to the curve as you can. I came out to find my side mirror had been hit an dangling off the wire.

Very fun! It was our very first time doing an escape room, but our host, Scarlet, was very helpful and made sure it was a fun experience for us. We're definitely going to come back with more friends!

Very fun! I went here as part of a work party (12 people) and had a blast. I had never been to an escape room before and the crew made a memorable experience. Everything went smooth and they made sure to accommodate any problems with the game. Definitely worth trying at least once.

Our entire family came and we had an incredible and memory filled time. It was hilarious, puzzling, heart pumping and gratifying. What made the experience so much fun were the scientist and zombie Jake and James. Incredible team and great execution on a great idea. Fun way to spend a Saturday.

My group had a great time today - the hosts (Erin as our scientist, Rachel as our zombie) were awesome. Erin was hilarious and gave us just enough hints, and we were all impressed with Rachel s acting abilities. We ll definitely plan on going again!

Staff are very friendly and good with children! My girlfriend and I are not too great at keeping track at 5 kids at once, but they were flawless! Very patient and very helpful. We did the pirate escape room and the kids did most of the problem solving! We were mostly there to help them keep track of things. We almost made it out! But it was a good challenge for anyone 10+ as even we were stumped at times. They give hints for dances though which was very fun!

UPDATE: After posting my review, John reached back out to me to complete the full refund. He was sincerely apologetic about the whole ordeal and did his research into why and how my refund was lost so that it would not happen again. I'm still soured by the experience, but it is clear that John has a love of escape rooms and a desire to rectify this situation. *** This is going to be a long post, so tldr - Ninja Escape advertised a tournament that never happened, scammed me out of $200, and then repeatedly ghosted me when I tried to follow up. My friends and I are avid Escape Room players and have visited most of the rooms in the city. Thus, when Ninja Escape advertised a tournament in Sept of 2018 with a prize of $1,000, we jumped on it. (1) I followed the instructions online and registered for the tournament with specific tournament details to be provided at a future date. I thought it was a little weird to not have full details on the contest while still collecting payment, but I know most of these places are small operations and gave them the benefit of the doubt. I didn't receive a confirmation email, but I did screenshot the online receipt, and the money was deducted from my account. (2) I honestly forgot about the tournament because I never heard further details. A couple months later, I contacted Ninja Escape, and they indicated that the tournament had been postponed due to legal conflicts. (The fact that they didn't contact the people who had already registered just seems like poor business practice.) They said that the tournament would still happen but could not give a solid date. They offered me a partial refund for the inconvenience. Cool. Not a big deal; we were still down to compete. (3) After another couple months of no word from the company, I reached out again asking for a full refund. John, the owner, replied and agreed to process a refund. I gave him my information and then didn't hear anything further. (4) After a month, I followed up again. No response. I continued to follow up for the next 5 months without ever being acknowledged by the company. The one exception was when I threatened legal action, at which point John again responded and said he'd processed a refund. However, the refund never went through. It has now been 8 months since I first received the tournament email and signed up. The company has been severely unresponsive in that time. If you're going here for a one off experience, you're probably fine, but I find it really surprising that such a poorly organized business could remain in operation this long.

We had a great time. We did mission 1. hack attack. We had 12 people witch i think was a few too many but we managed and actually escaped on the nick of time. The room is well laid out with fun and challenging puzzles and exciting surprised. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Highly recommend.

This place is freaking awesome. My friend Zach Davies works there from my old high school. It's so cool. Really fun place to he and it offers you a lot of fun choices. And it takes teamwork. Really neat people and very unique complicated puzzles.

Its a fun place to go with both teammates as well as friends. We went on our friend's birthday and really enjoyed a lot. The people hosting the event really put in lots and lots of efforts to make your game enjoyable and challenging. Overall the tasks seemed difficult as compared to other escape rooms I have done. But it's fun!

Some very creative puzzles at a variety of difficulty levels. I've done about 20 different escape rooms around the country and both Black Lace and Captain Dreadbeard's Revenge at Ninja Escape are two of my favorites. The organization has helpful and energetic hosts too!

Super fun! My co-workers surprised me for my birthday by taking me to do the "Trapped in a Room with a Zombie" escape room, and it was a blast! All the staff were very into character, and the puzzle was uniquely complex (we didn't escape in time). We plan on coming back as a group and escaping before time runs out!

Great experience. Puzzled were challenging but not impossible. Erin and Shelby did a great job. Erin watched the whole time and provided positive comments about each group member at the end and Shelby was a zombie and tried to eat us! She stayed in character and did an awesome job at adding excitement

This being the 10th escape room I've done, I have to say I was very disappointed with my experience. My group did the hack attack room. We had 7 in our group. The only reason they are getting 2 stars and not 1 from me is because I liked the flow of the puzzles and clues in the room and the tech/special effects were on par with most rooms I have done. However, until they fix the A/C and the group size to room size ratio, I will not be going back and I would not recommend this escape room company to my friends.

Dan was a really great guide, he gave us the hints when we really needed it, but we didn't feel like he was doing it for us, he gave the perfect mix of challenge while we still felt success. I would suggest making the alien wire section easier. We were happy that we got through it, but were only greeted by another one that was way harder. That is why we lost.

Did the Stuck in a room with a zombie on 5/5. Ben was a charismatic and perceptive host and Tessio made a perfect zombie. The puzzles were difficult but solvable and well thought-out. It was so much fun. I will be recommending to all my friends!

Interesting adventure if you have an hour or so to kill. No spoilers here but its mostly just clues to combination locks, some 3, some 4 digit. Not easy but not overly complex either. You'll need to make at least one phone call from the room so don't leave your cell in the car. The room isn't well lit most of the time so its a good idea bring a flashlight or headlamp. Small room, not very well ventilated so leave your coats and jackets. To add an element of surprise of your own one might consider having lunch at Slims Last Chance chili shack a few hours prior to the game and playing with a group of strangers. Is that the Black Lace that I smell???

Went for escape room twice. Its a nice place, slightly on the difficult side but you get your money's worth. The challenges are properly designed. But make sure you have enough people for the challenge. If you have only 6 people, you won't be able to do a challenge meant for 10.

Dan was awesome. Dan gave us hints, but Dan also made us feel involved. Dan was the name of the guy who helped us, I think Dan was fun. Dan, the only thing that would have made it easier isn t if the plug section was easier. Anyway, thanks Dan!

Really good puzzle. Kept us sweating the entire time, and figured it out with a minute and a half to spare. I highly recommend it, but as with most room escapes, bring your A-game and your smart friends. It's not easy. With 8 people, I can think of many times where without the ideas and help of each person at just the right time, we'd never have made it. We'd still have had a lot of fun though. They do a good job of helping just enough when you're cornered, but not doing it for you, to cover misunderstanding instructions and things like that. I'll definitely be back for more.

Really great escape room! The room was very well designed and the puzzles had interesting connections that definitely made you collaborate in order to solve the entire room. The staff was also great in making it a great experience. We did the "Enter the machine" and we are definitely looking forward to doing another room in the future

Ninja Escape was a ton of fun. We did the hardest room at the fremont location, enter the machine and had a ton of fun. The room was amazingly well designed and all of the different parts of the puzzles were fun and challenging. We didnt end up beating the room but it was the best puzzle room I have done yet and I look forward to doing more of their rooms! Also our host Dan did an excellent job helping us along with clues as needed and made the room even more enjoyable.

So much fun!! Our group signed up kind of on a whim and ended up beating the game (with some help from John). 4 out of the 6 of us had never done an escape room before, 6 out of 6 of us will definitely be returning for another game in the future!

Tough puzzles. Hidden surprise. Went with a date and there's a bunch of other people in the room. Lots of fun. Would be five stars but staff didn't set up one puzzle correctly and we were stuck on it too long. The woman was very new though.

Two Fridays ago, my group had an extremely subpar experience with the escape room. We had a wonderful time at the beginning with the actress and were all pumped when we finally went in, but once we started, it was clear that something was wrong. Multiple puzzles were already completed and open. Multiple locks were unlocked already that should have never been unlocked. The staff even accused us of somehow unlocking these panels on our own when there was no way we could have known the combination. Because puzzles were already solved, props not working, and props not locked into place, we ended up getting the key to escape in 10 minutes (everything out of order). This would have been fine, but the staff informed us partway through a puzzle that we already had the key to escape. So we stopped solving the puzzles and escaped with more than half an hour left. We apparently missed out on several clever puzzles that we never got to do. I understand that sometimes things happen and maybe the staff had somehow missed that the escape room wasn t fully setup, but I wish they would have stopped the escape room and reset when they realized how out of place everything was. I was just disappointed to ask my friends to pay that much money for such a subpar experience and I hope no one else has the same issue in the future. Overall it seemed really cool and puzzles we did do were awesome. Just sad we didn t get to do everything.

The puzzle sequence was too linear and didn't allow for multiple groups to work on multiple things at once. Otherwise the puzzles themselves were well designed. We tried the Kraken Ninja puzzle.

This place is the worst, I tried to have a birthday party here so tried to check it out beforehand . We were at their door but no one answered after we knocked. I called their phone and also no one answered. We finally found a 2nd floor door that's open and saw a young woman inside. We were told to go back to the 1st floor to wait for the door to be opened by someone else in a few minutes. We did what she asked us to do and waited for about 20 minutes -- no one came to open the door for us even when we could hear footsteps inside! We tried to call and knock again to no vain. This place ruined my birthday plan. Bad luck on the Poopy face people working there , hope it shuts down.

1st escape room experience, this was super fun and I think our whole group would say James and Celebs character dedication really make the experience what it was. Both were awesome and hilarious dude. Will surely be checking out the other missions.

Ben and Jake were awesome! Ben was the Zombie and stayed in character the whole time. It seemed like it would be very scary having a Zombie in the escape with you but it s not too bad but it does get your adrenaline going. Jake was the mission coordinator and was also in character the whole time. He explain the game very well and was also very funny. I would recommend this for friends, dates, business events because it is a great team building experience. At the end they review your strong skills and give you a positive feedback. They have many rooms to try. I recommend hack attack or black lace with Dan!

This was such a fantastic experience! We did Enter the Machine which was so exciting and the clues were very well done. The best escape room I've ever done so far! James was our guide and he really embraces his role, he made everything so fun :)

Not awful but definitely not a great escape room. Things feel cheap and a little dingy. At least in my case, the room was overbooked and way too crowded. Several parts of the room simply weren't working, and the staff had to help. The puzzles were not very well thought out and felt like a homemade approximation of better escape rooms.

Went here with a group of 12. Pretty standard escape room, you're locked in the room for an hour with a set of riddles. Staff is friendly. My main complaint is that the experiences are not well built. Many of our participants were left standing around for a lot of the event, or hiding in a corner evading the zombie. Very little of the time is everyone engaged and doing puzzles. Paying $35/person to hide from someone jumping at you without many riddles is a bit crazy. Find a way to make this more inclusive and it'd be a good experience, but they have a ways to go.

Per European standards it was very expensive and too crowded (12 people in a small room..) The mission would be fine for 5 people, but you have no way to guarantee that, because they will combine you with strangers.

Zero stars not being an option, giving one star... Booked Black Lace in Belltown and it was an absolute waste of time and money! 12 people crammed in a small escape room with the temperature increasing by the minute making it very uncomfortable. If you are mixed up with another groups, it adds to the awkwardness and confusion. It's only worth, if they reduce the group to 6-8 per session and fix the AC, unless the failure to escape is frying you alive... Not recommended!

The game was thrilling and exciting. It was not easy to solve all the clues but the member staff helped to point at some hints. I liked Karellyn who interuced the game and then was a part of the theme. The only one thing I can comment on is the final clue which they could change it or place it in a more obvious place.
