Busy, busy, so long waiting time for lunch (1 hour 15 min) but very nice service.

Food top, service top and despite the hustle and bustle to enjoy delicious food.

A surprise we encountered while looking for a lunch spot, beautiful views, nice atmosphere and good food.

Nice and hip place to have lunch. Easy to reach by car, plenty of free parking spaces. From the restaurant you have a beautiful view over the Haringvliet, there is also a large terrace available perfect for the hot summer days.

The lunch menu offers something for everyone, also enough vegetarian options. The toilets could use a renovation (and always make sure they are clean). The staff is not very professional, not attentive and a bit slow.

All in all a nice place to have lunch.

Beautiful and large terrace with a view over the Haringvliet. Beautiful fish dishes. There is also a playing field for the children.

Cozy appearance, however, we sat to the left of the door and the temperature was not pleasant, The large windows radiated much too much cold. Around the corner at the bar it was much nicer. It was also a very large table where you sat very far apart, not really cozy.
A dirty glass, slow service and a little too little attention did not make the experience fantastic.
The food was of good quality. Maybe give another chance with a table on the other side.

Nicely decorated restaurant with a large outdoor terrace where you can eat well

We have been here 2x in the same (holiday) week. The first time for lunch, everything was OK, although I thought the food was quite pricey for what you get. The terrace is very beautiful. The 2nd time we came in the afternoon for an ice cream. We had to wait a long time for our order to arrive, and by the time the ice creams arrived on the table they had already melted for more than half. Been nauseous afterwards. So this could be better.

Waoww! Open kitchen. Only fresh products. An enchanted parenthesis. When you book, ask for a table with sea views!

Atmospheric, good service / operation and good food.

Nice location .. restaurant looked nice .. but even though they were with a lot of staff, we still had to wait 10 minutes before drinking was taken .. 7 man in the kitchen is really a lot and the food was not to eat .. no taste at all. Salt and pepper does wonders .. also the meal salad was way too big and tasted like nothing .. Service was nice .. we'll definitely come back here but just to have a drink ...

Been this afternoon, we were assigned a table which unfortunately had not been cleaned. Bit sloppy in Corona's time. The tea was nice.

Very tasty food and great ambience. There is also a children's menu with 3-course menus. Can be combined very well with a visit to the A Seal (seal sanctuary) next door.

We eat well, but the organization is a nightmare. Despite the reserved table for 14 much earlier, very long waits.

Had dinner 2 weeks ago. I sat outside on the terrace with my mother. Besides us a family with 1 child and 2 extra adults (grandma and grandpa presumably) actually for 4 chairs. Grandpa picked up a 5th chair. Waiter told him to keep his distance because of our table. He moved up a bit. Then 2 older men came to the same table. 1 of the 2 ordered a young waiter to get 2 seats. He did. I responded to the young waiter. That this is not possible due to corona rules. My 83-year-old mother agreed .. she said this is not allowed, right? to which the young brat waiter said: "I like it". My mother and I were dumbfounded. Then 8 people sat around a table for 4 and nothing was done about it !! The young waiter would be addressed, but I doubt if this happened. I always liked to eat there, but as long as such decisions are made, I will not be there for the time being. Everyone must abide by the corona rules. So also Restaurant Zoet or Zout in Stellendam. Maybe the Enforcers should have a look there

the strong wind made it a reason for us to abort our visit.

Beautiful location on the water where we had a good policy morning with the entire team. Of course Corona test! Received with a nice cup of coffee and a Zeeland bolus. Originally the intention was to keep the final presentations outside. But because of the strong wind it is preferable for indoors. The manager was flexible and did not mind removing the panels between the different rooms so that a large space was created where we could all present safely. Thanks for the hospitality we will be back for a follow-up.

Just basically food and quality leaves to be desired.
When ordering pastries, they sit with their fingers on the pastry, after which they lick their fingers and again sit with the licked fingers on the pastry and cutlery.
There was a lot of hair in my dish. Was right off the bill and rightly so but my appetite was gone.
Toilets were not clean. And the floor in the restaurant was dirty. French fries and other remains were everywhere.
Price and quality do not mix.
At the reception, the staff was very humored. And not friendly.
Only the boy who served us was cheerful and friendly.

Great food, nice location. Operation not too smooth, but friendly. Please note: do not order all your carpaccio carpets on the menu!

It was a very busy place so most people like it, however to us it was like eating in a food-factory ; too massive for our taste.

Update: had diner again at August 9th at Zoet of Zout with 4 people.
Service was better; it was a pleasant experience.

Good terrace and good food. Not very special but certainly not wrong for a lunche. With nice weather it is lovely outside with enough space and a choice of lounge sofas or tables. View over the Haringvliet gives it a holiday feeling.

Being on a busy Saturday eating, it was pleasantly busy but the staff really had to get on with it and gave a somewhat restless impression. The "shared dining" starter was quite tasty, but mostly consisted of manufacturer-prepared products. the tongue was watery without any taste, because according to the menu the garlic and basil flavor was nowhere to be seen.
A shame because this restaurant has a lot of potential, in terms of location and table setting.

Lovely on the terrace overlooking the water, super tasty white beer on tap ... cheese stalks with sweet and sour sauce a delicious combination.

Sweet or Salt is a wonderful location for a nice snack. The interior is stylish and you have a beautiful view over the water.
The food they serve is very tasty and looks good. The prices are somewhat higher than in the average restaurant, but it is therefore a bit more luxurious.
The staff is nice but you don't see much. One could come to the table a little more often for drinks and such. We also often had to wait a long time.
Sweet or Salt is definitely recommended.
