Zion Adventure Company Review

Im giving them only 4 stars because they open late and close early so it hampered our ability to do all of the Narrows we wanted to hike. But other than that they are 5 stars. Their equipment is much better, for the narrows in winter, than the competition (we compared with other hikers and they were jealous of our suits and extra socks). We also did a day canyoneering trip with Whitney. She was awesome and very friendly, informative and a great teacher.

We had a wonderful experience with Zion Adventure company! Avoid stress and use their services. We booked ahead of time and the staff was very helpful, we made some changes before coming and emailing with Laura was easy and she was very accommodating. We arrived the evening before our outing to the Narrows to pick up our gear, it was Easter Weekend and we expected it to be busy. We received an orientation and then were able to try on our gear. The following morning we arrived for our shuttle and Kevin the driver was awesome, he gave us alot of info while driving in and was friendly made it fun for the group. The Narrows did not disappoint, I'm glad we rented the gear, especially the pants for the kids and the shoes kept our feet warm. I am also glad we made the decision to pay for their shuttle. Very convenient, no lines, and no stress with worrying if we could get a ticket for the time we wanted to go. On the return I had to come back early with my son so our group split up. Luckily they allowed us to take an earlier shuttle back, a different driver (whose name I forgot) but was equally kind and helpful. Both drivers were personable and funny with great energy! Back at the outfitter we saw people arriving around 11am/noon wanting bicycles- please make a reservation ahead of time. Zion gets tons of visitors so if you wait for last minute most outfitters will not have anything left. Reservations were easy. The only thing I wish they had were "bib" dry pants, the full dry-suit was too much for us, but the pants were barley high enough for my kids. The nice thing about the pants is you can wear whatever gear you want on top.

We loved this company! We rented gear and a shuttle to hike the narrows and had an amazing time. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We had never done anything like this hike before and we felt very prepared for what to expect and how to use the gear we rented. Our shuttle guides were hilarious and gave us plenty of amazing information about Zion s geology and history. We had such a great time on the narrows that we rented another shuttle to take us to Angels Landing s trailhead. Our shuttle guide that day was also so amazing and friendly. Her positive energy definitely gave us the confidence to finish the Angels Landing hike and we just had great time on both days. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone going to Zion national park.

This experience was fantastic from beginning to end. We booked early based entirely from a google search and reviews. We were planning to attempt the hike into the narrows at Zion in February and had no idea what we needed. For those of you not familiar, this is a 6 to 7 mile hike in a slot canyon where you are in a river most of the time. Our reservation was handled professionally and when we stopped to get things set up, Cody took care of us like we were old friends. We were fitted with exactly what we needed. He advised us what to wear under our gear and took us through how our dry suits needed to be handled. He told us more information about how we could enjoy our trip more. When we noticed they might have a heavy duty sewing machine at their store and we had just had a leather strap break on a backpack of ours, he was happy to make a perfect repair for us. Our check in process was another pleasant, prompt, and friendly experience. I can t say enough positive things about our experience with these guys this week!

We were unable to get the public shuttle passes because they were unavailable (very limited right now) and wanted to get into the park so used Zion Adventures. The staff at Zion were able to sqeeze us in even though they were booked! John was out tour guide and he was so friendly and knowledgeable! Can't say enough about the top notch customer service and great experience. Thank you for helping us out! A word of advice is don't go into the park without hiking shoes, the rocks are slippery!

Fabulous experience with renting e-bikes for the day. The bicycles were a perfect way to explore Zion. You can get everywhere really easily on them without having to bother with a shuttle. The roads and the bike trail in Zion are fairly flat, but have a low grade incline all the way in one direction. It's no problem at all on the ebikes and they are so much fun to ride. The interactions with the Adventure Company were great and they explained everything really well. 100% will rent e-bikes from here again next time we visit Zion.

Very nice and helpful people. We were able to walk in and rent all of our gear for a winter narrows hike, which was a full dry suit (up to your neck coverage) with boots, neoprene socks, and walking stick. They charge by the day so if you return gear the following day, it should technically be 2 days' charge, but they are upfront about this and may be lenient with you if they think it's not going to be a busy day. Just be aware that the suits are color coordinated by size, not gender, so you might be walking around in purple/magenta suits

Worth every penny! We originally wanted to do the guided tour, but that tour was booked the day we planned to visit Zion. The rep explained that we could rent the gear and ride the shuttle in to hike the Narrows on our own. We were reluctant at first, but I m delighted we made the decision to go for it. I wish we d visited the store the night before to give ourselves a bit more time for the orientation, but the guide who helped us was AWESOME. She gave us a quick but thorough explanation of the gear, and took the time needed to ensure we were all well fitted and comfortable. The shoes and suits were perfect and made for a safe and fun filled family adventure. DONT HESITATE - RENT THE GEAR FROM Zion Adventures and get out there! This is a must do hike and experience if you are planning to visit Zion!

Great and helpful staff. We rented out narrows gear - pants, river shoes, socks, walking sticks here and they made sure we had the right size to be comfortable during out hike. Shuttle service was also very punctual.

This place was great we rented the gear to do the narrows in zion national park and got a emergency call and the refunded all are money with no question. Great and knowledgeable employees world recommend getting any rental.gear and services from them.
