I had my hair cut by Miles last week. He did a great job! The salon is very clean and professional with a modern decor. I thought all of the people were friendly and professional. I highly recommend Zinke!
Absolutely love this salon! Not only are they flexible with time, but, I received the most beautiful cut. I love that I can call, and say can you squeeze me in? and they find a way to do so every time since I m so busy it s hard for me to stick with set times. Recommend 100%
The Zinke Knoebell Studio is one of the best salon experiences I have ever experienced! Even thought Boulder is a little far of a drive for me, they know how to do amazing things with my hair so the drive is so worth it. Also, the environment in there is so relaxed yet at the same time everyone has fun doing their job. Every time I go in there I always come out with an amazing outcome no matter what challenge I give to them. These stylists actually listen to and give you what you want, unlike some other salons who are in a hurry and do hair based on what they think looks good. Prices are very reasonable and the products used are unbelievable. Definitely would reccommend this place to anyone!

Excellent experience as a first time client. I'm always nervous to try a new stylist, but Cassidy did an outstanding job on my short, pixie style cut - she nailed it on the first cut. I love it and will definitely be back!
Morgan Stout is the BEST! She provides great consultation on what will look good for you and how to make your hair healthy. She is very friendly! Every time I go, I feel like I'm catching up with a friend :)
If you're looking for an amazing salon with the best customer service, look no further! Everyone, from the front desk, to all of the stylists are so warm and welcoming. They give a wonderfully relaxing neck and shoulder massage before each service, as well as a great hand massage while getting shampooed. Also, every stylist I've seen so far (Jillian, Cassidy, and Nina) has done such an amazing job with my hair. I've always felt extremely comfortable, cared for, and they've all gone above and beyond to make sure that I look beautiful. I always leave feeling like a million bucks. I've often felt uncomfortable, and a bit unsatisfied while visiting other salons in Boulder.
I have been struggling to find a decent stylist in Boulder for years, but I will continue to see Lindsay as long as I can. I had a great experience and hope to keep having them. A great haircut from a wonderful person.
I've been seeing Julia for about a year and she is phenomenal. My hair always looks amazing. She's absolutely great with my short hairstyle. I've never walked away unhappy. She even shaves the back and neckline but it's so perfectly blended I've never thought it looked harsh or boyish.
I switched to Zinke after several nightmare visits to Floyd's and I haven't regretted it since. The price is 100% worth it and they give free cleanups between cuts so your hair is always looking awesome. I can't say enough good things about this place.
Amazing customer service, clean, welcoming atmosphere, and they do not try to push their products on you but if you're interested in something the staff is educated on everything.
Julia also mixed together a custom color for my hair and I get endless compliments about it.

I always leave Zinke feeling amazing! Megan R. is my favorite - she does color so well. The salon has been remodeled a few times in the past few years since my first visit. Thank you so much for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day! Megan did such an amazing job on my hair and the bridesmaid's hair for my recent March wedding! She took a lot of time during our trial to get just the right look. She never seemed frustrated with me and was willing to play with it until I loved it. She listened to what I envisioned and it turned out better then I could have imagined! She was able to make all of the girls look similar without being identical! I loved how everything turned out and would highly recommend her!

Annie is the absolute best! She is so sweet and fun - getting a haircut is actually a blast. I am a full-time momma and moments where I get to go out and take care of myself are few and far between, going to get my haircut at Zinke with Annie is such a nice break! I've had two fantastic cuts with Annie and can't wait to go back in the summer. She is the absolute best - all the mommas need to go and give them self some self-care and relax as Annie is super talented and wonderful at what she does.

I ve been going to Zinke for about two years, the past 18 months of which have been with Chelsea. She s done my hair for events, she s done basic trims and she s done bigger cuts with styling. The salon is great, the service is spectacular and the tea is the best blend. I highly recommend Zinke!

The WORST! I will NEVER go back. I went in a dark blonde and somehow came out with RED HAIR & WHITE STREAKS. Contrary to what I requested for color.
The cut was very good, the time was speedy - the fastest cut / color ever, now I know why. And the price was super expensive $$$ the most I have paid.
When my husband saw me, he wanted to know what happened to my hair, it looked horrible. Thanks for nothing Zinke Knoebel, I won't be back.
Now I am going back to my previous person for color correction - or wear a paper sack until summer and have my head shaved.

Chelsea does a fantastic job. I really enjoy this salon- it never has that stinky chemical smell that lots of salons have, and I have always had a good experience.
Jacqueline did a great job! She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions to make my hair cut perfect and tips on styling products to use with my fine but dry hair! I also did not feel rushed, but she worked efficiently as well. I will definitely be going back!

Cassidy is a pixie master. She has given me two short cuts, each slightly different, both adorable and easy to maintain. She seems to really tailor the cut to my face/lifestyle and is amazing with cowlicks. Zinke is a lovely salon. Making appointments is a snap and everyone I encounter is friendly. Highly recommended!
I've gone to Zinke Hair Studio for a number of years. Nina has been an outstanding stylist, and it seems that every one of the stylists are held to very high standards. I love the extra touches like the shoulder and hand massages and tea! Such a relaxing, spa-like experience every time!
I love this studio! I've had many bad hair experiences and always have a wonderful experience at Zinke. Tara is so talented and sweet :) And not to mention the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of the cut.
I came here on a recommendation from my girlfriend. I have been back many times for haircuts and have seen a couple different stylists. The staff is very professional with their dress and customer service. I love the Aveda products and have always left with a great hair cut.
The personnel are great, very accommodating. Love the hair products, and their line of cosmetics. Have been completely happy with my hair each time! Highly recommend!
They do a good haircut/color are a reasonable price. I just had issues with getting a second appointment. They cancelled one appointment multiple times - original person quit, not sure what happened with the next person I was placed with, and the third one had to switch times for a personal reason. That was understandable for a one-off time. I went to the person that I utilmately got placed with and she was great but when I scheduled a follow up they called about a week out because they didn't realize she would be on vacation. I am flexible but it just became hard go constantly have to switch times.

They do a great job. My son and I both go (and see different sylists) - both are skilled, helpful and friendly.
And while there are a zillion women there, it's not too girly for guys to go in.
UPDATE:
As you can see below, the salon managers are continuing to blame me for not buying their conditioner/shampoo products (product that I never purchased before when having this same treatment at Zinke, which previously lasted the correct amount of time). That isn't a valid argument, guys.
The stylist never called me. I never received a voicemail or missed call. What a coincidence. I had to call back 3 or 4 times just to get a response.
Finally, I had a completely different treatment at another salon. So, no, I didn't come to Zinke to "fix" that one. I came to get one that I had gotten before and had liked, at Zinke. Your staff remains utterly convinced that is the reason that I went to Zinke, all to save yourself a few bucks.
I asked for a redo, refund, or even store credit. You refused to give any of those.
If you don't want bad reviews, then don't give bad customer service; it is that simple. At the end of the day, customer service is the backbone of the salon industry, and you blew it.
Customer service is terrible here, as others have mentioned. Rude managers, gossipy stylists, and unable to serve curly or ethnic hair. Paid lots of money--for a treatment I had gotten once before there--and when it didn't last but a month, Zinke staff blamed it on me not buying their overpriced hair products. Would not even even give me a redo or refund, and took me two days of getting passed around to actually get an answer.
Alyssa has done wonders for my hair. She cuts my bangs just right. They still look great, weeks later. Recently I got a partial highlight to brighten my mouse brown hair, and hopefully my soul, too. Perfection! It s amazing what a good do can do. I love the atmosphere at Zinke, the prices are great, esp given the great service, and I love how on point they are with their communication.
I didn't realize how great a dye job they did until I tried a few other salons. They have definite skills and my hair actually felt better after dying it for the first time than before.
I have had my hair done by Megan multiple times. She has a great personality and is a wonderful person to chat with, you really get to know her. In addition she is a great stylist and does wonderful color. The salon is nice and relaxing and they add extra touches to provide a great Aveda experience such as aromatherapy and hand massages. I would highly recommend this salon and especially recommend Megan as a stylist.
Tabitha was wonderful. My hair was a hot mess after weeks in Hawaii due to long hours in the sun and ocean water. She helped me to figure out what blend of colors would restore my roots to their natural color. Much appreciated. I usually dislike going to the salon, but this was a really pleasurable experience. Great conversation, tasty tea, friendly staff, and scalp massage were nice extra bonuses. Highly recommended!!
Alyssa was amazing and friendly! I would highly recommend coming here. My visit was the best trip to a salon I have had! They offered a drink when I came in. She started out with a consultation instead of just starting to chopping my hair off. Yes I have had that! Also she gave me a shoulder massage and washed my hair. Their washing stations are very comfortable I did not need to hold my head up like every other salon I have been to. She also curled my hair and it turned out fabulous!
Really great experience all around! Great massage and I felt like I was really being taken care of. She did an excellent job with my hair and I loved the products she used. It smelled great, was not irritating as some are at salons and it helped my unruly hair!
