Zephyr Rugs is a beautiful store with vast array of rugs. The owners are welcoming, warm and knowledgeable. I was in the store looking for a rug for my living room and left with two.
I found a colorful flat weave for my bedroom in their bargain basement and the second was a natural dye from upstairs which is the prefect addition to my living room!
I went to Zephyr Rugs earlier in the summer after attending a wedding and had a great time. I was not looking for anything specific, but the owner let me take a look at the amazing rugs they had on the top floor and then I got to browse the basement's selection of more affordable rugs which are at a great discount. When I do end up getting rugs for my home I'm sure my boyfriend and I will come back here.
I have had the pleasure of purchasing a beautiful runner and queen size hand-made quilt from Zephyr Rugs a couple of years ago when I bought my first condo. I found the quality and price of both pieces to be excellent, and the store owners and staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If I ever intend on purchasing another rug of as high-quality as the one I did, I would certainly return. This store is an experience in itself.
Only top quality items mainly rugs of all sizes and custom in house rug protection undermats. Imported directly from the Asian world with vegan dyed colors and authentic materials and production methods. Price is tough but the basement in bargain area. Recommended for anyone who wants and loves precious homemade goods like the rug.
Fantastic service! Incredibly knowledgeable about their products and you will never know what you will find to choose from. The owner travels all over the world hand selecting their rugs and he really knows his stuff. They also do a great job with cleaning and repairing your existing rugs.
Had a semi-antique rug beautifully repaired! It had badly frayed sides and a deep cut at one end. You cannot even tell that repairs were done. It was re-woven on the edges with perfectly matching wool. Extremely pleased with the result.
Every time that I'm in Northampton, I make sure to stop at 2 shops, Zephyr Rugs and The Roost. As rug novice, I enjoy asking the owners questions about the dying process and the hand stitching. The blue Tree of Life is hands down the best rug I've ever laid eyes on.
Consistently treated as unwelcome by the woman running this store, both times I ve come in looking for a rug. On my most recent visit she asked my partner and I four times if she could help us, standing over us sternly until she walked us out the door of the store and literally shut it it behind us. Please be mindful entering this store if you re a member of our LGBT community.
Service at Zephyr Rugs was exceptional. I was kept informed of progress of repair and cleaning every step of the way. The finished products couldn't be better. I highly recommend them.
When we moved my mom out of her house, there were many carpets of various ages, sizes, and conditions to deal with. Tony was able to identify each one for us, and Victoria and her crew did a fabulous job washing and repairing as needed. I highly recommend Zephyr Rugs for TLC for your carpets!
