Zeffert & Gold Catering Review

Just did our tasting! Matt is wonderful & accommodating. The chef was WONDERFUL & the food was even better...so excited for our big day!

10/10 Service from Start to Finish. Matt and his team are so incredible to work with and were so accommodating during these crazy times. They made the entire process flawless and our day was perfect. The day of staff was so friendly and went above and beyond for us. Oh, by the way, the food is TO DIE FOR. I highly recommend for your wedding day!

Working with Zeffert and Gold was the easiest part of our wedding planning! Lisa was easy to reach, and worked very hard to ensure our day was perfect, from ensuring our GF guests were taken care of to making sure my glass of champagne was never empty, she really did it all! The food was amazing, we chose short rib with parsnip puree as well as the risotto station and our guests raved! I cannot recommend Z&G enough!

seared duck w/ blueberry gastrique, the filet gratin, seared scallop w/ bacon jam, and crab & corn soup.

Zeffert & Gold were amazing to work with throughout planning our wedding and helped make the day perfect for us! The food was phenomenal and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went smooth. Megan asked questions we had not even thought about and was ontop of it every step of the way. When our original venue canceled on us and caused us into a rush to re-planning our wedding Zeffert and Gold was so great at working with us to create something that was even more "us" than our original wedding. We had a 10 course curated wine dinner as our meal for the wedding and the food and presentation really blew our minds with how amazing it was. Some of my favorites were the carrot pastrami, shrimp and mango ceviche, and the most amazing thing that i have ever eaten which was the spring pea soup with bacon lardons, carrot chips and the truffle cream. If you want your guests to be absolutely blown away by taste, presentation look no further than Zeffert and Gold.

From the very beginning, Zeffert & Gold were a class act! We hired them for our daughters wedding and even after we had to reschedule because of COVID, Megan was on top of everything. She made sure to help us secure a new date and was so genuine and helpful. Matt is truly AMAZING and the food was spectacular~ our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was and I am looking forward to figuring out another opportunity to use them again. The day of the wedding, their entire staff was so friendly and kind... you can tell they love what they do and it showed from their professionalism to the presentation of the food and to the quality of ingredients they used. We will highly recommend them to our Kupcakes & Co. clients as the #1 caterer in the area. We work with many vendors and we are pleased to say that Zeffert & Gold are truly the best in the business. Megan and Matt, you are both gems and we are forever grateful for you and your staff!

Amazing food and service! They catered my grandmother's 100th birthday on short notice. The staff was very helpful in figuring out a menu. We thought the price was reasonable and well worth it. Delivery was prompt and efficient. Will use again in the future.

5 stars is not enough. Food was the #1 concern for our wedding- we love it and it had to be perfect. One month later, guests are STILL talking about how this was THE BEST WEDDING FOOD they have ever had. Jayne and Matt were the absolute best to work with. I honestly, don't feel I have enough space here to give a proper review. From the moment we had our INCREDIBLE tasting, to the moment we were handed tons of food to take home and enjoy after our wedding- my now husband and I were their top priority. The staff was incredible- I must've turned around 20+ times during the night and had a server there with water or a drink for me. Every guest was well attended, the food was beyond delicious. I will be using Zeffert and Gold for ANY event I will host in the future and if you are a bride / groom reading this- I would gladly book them again for my wedding- worth EVERY cent and then some! So well done- thank you all SO SO VERY much for the most wonderful night of our lives so far.

We are thrilled with our experience with Z&G. We worked with Matt, who was responsive, creative, and worked to accommodate our vision in the best way possible. There were so many food options it was hard to pick- but our guests loved everything we chose. We even got to create our own 'honeymoon station' which had Italian and Greek food, inspired by our honeymoon trip. The day of, Z&G staff worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect, and especially ensured that the bride and groom ate, and never went without a drink in our hands! We cannot recommend you guys enough- our guests are still raving about cocktail hour...

From the beginning Iris Gold made sure my wife and I were at ease and that she was going to help us have the wedding of our dreams. The ideas, help and support that zeffert and gold provided were top notch. Then the tasting... where to begin....everything was delicious and made fresh for us. It was pretty much like dinner a 5 star dinner with the best food variety you could imagine. We would have picked a bit of everything if we could, unfortunately the budget did not allow for that. Fortunately Iris was great at assisting us in choosing a good variety of dishes without forcing her opinion on us which we really appreciated!
The ceremony and reception were exactly what my wife and I had wanted and Z&G played a massive part in this. The food, service, table settings and everything that Z&G did was 100%, not a beat missed. We had so many compliments about the food, which only says one thing! Thank you Zeffert and Gold for making our wedding night perfect. Keep up the great work!
