Zert is a brotherhood. It is for people that want better for themselves than what a normal civilian is prepared for. I have found so much value in my membership, and I can't say enough how much that came from other members. It is was you make of it, so I can see why some people think it isn't anything special, but that is only because they aren't willing to put in the time to see what all is offered.

I joined a few years ago, and while it absolutely is a sales job for the people who run it, it's a quality operation that treats its members with due respect. Some of the group's squadron pages have fairly redneck and ignorant folks posting, but my YC squadron has lots going on, is cheerful and informative, and most of all, nobody takes much seriously. Some of our training events utterly kick ass, and members cross the country to train and socialize.

Company doesn't stand by what they say. Allows members to openly bash law enforcement, bans members for no reason (sometimes for just being associated with someone) then claims they made personal attacks to make themselves look justified.

Be warned, if you join the Facebook groups, the admins will spy on other groups in order to monitor what you say.

I ordered a couple of patches and a couple of stickers and received one extra sticker and only one patch called as soon as I saw the issue and they said they'll ship it out ASAP. And as to the one star post that claims that members openly bash guys, that is false along with his entire post

Seriously a massive waste of money!! 40$ to read hate towards law enforcement? No thanks. Seriously the worst organization you could be apart of. Why not spend that money on something useful like give back to the community?

I was a member of this group, was about to order my year 3. I became frustrated with the other members posting anti government/law enforcement posts, with no consequences and went off on the main admin (my fault). I was subsequently banned from the group, but out of spite the head admin also banned another member who was close to me"due to my actions". This other member had done absolutely nothing wrong and this was only done in order to get them to be mad at me. No refunds were ever issued. Save your $40.

Worse $40 I spent. This organization says it stand by military and law enforcement, which is totally BS. I have seen members bashing cop and mil and those members are protected by the head admins while the mil and LEO's defending against those bashing get banned. I have met some good people on here and I can count them on my hands, but you can also do that by spending more time at some training where you live and not having to travel to Texas or Nevada. They also love to "spy" on you on other non related zert page and if you say something wrong about zert there you get banned. Well that's it I'm not gone waste my time, they aren't worth it. If you don't believe me then go spend $40.

I personally love ZERT. After being medically separated from the Marine Corps I lost most of my marine friends. They turned their backs on me but my friends in ZERT have supported me completely. I have been struggling to find a job for over a year now and my friends have even tried to help me find work. They care and look out for me and each other even though none of us have ever met in person. This organization is the brotherhood and family the military was supposed to be. I happily re up my membership and look forward to joining in training in the future. X5312 signing out.

Love these guys. I don't participate as much as I would like, but they are always awesome.

ZERT is more than a "zombie" group. If you join ZERT and attend the meet and greets, you'll make new, like-mined friends. Headed into my third year. Haters gonna hate on ZERT, but those are the folks who didn't take full advantage of the friendship, information, or training available.
