Imagine living a relatively stable life, having the ability to pay bills and care for your family comfortably with your full time work.
Sounds good right, of course considering all things go well. How about when I tell you that my comfortable did not include savings or half decent credit and was 100% reliant upon this one income.
So when COVID hit, like so many I lost my stability. From eviction notices to sacrificing meals for myself so that my kid could eat. I couldn t see the light at the end of the tunnel and finally came to the realization that I needed help. That s when I found my light, the YWCA. My experience with the YWCA has been nothing but amazing. Their mission, their dedication and genuine desire to help puts you completely at ease with speaking to them about your needs. The process from application to finalizing assistance was unbelievably fast. The application process and communication could not have been easier. At no point did I feel like I was being judged or even as if I was asking for something. It s like they want to help you just as much as you need it and that s a great feeling. Lastly but certainly not least, Jessie my guardian angel and case worker deserves her own review because WOW. Thank you so much YWCA, Jessie and supervisor Caitlyn for this experience and for helping me achieve housing stability and more during this difficult time. I would love to one day become a donor because this is a place fighting for real people going through real struggles. You guys went above and beyond my greatest expectations. Thank you so much
