Biggest bunch of law breakers on the road. Forget the rule book with this crowd! No wonder the Traffic Commissioner hammers them on a regular basis. Best thing would be to have their licence withdraw completely!

On Tuesday 15th September 2002, I was tailgated by one of your drivers on the road from Dumbarton to Cardross. The road was quite busy, and for that reason the road speed was between 40 & 50 mph. This guy was often less than two car lengths behind me, and on one occasion I thought he was going to collide with my car. The registration of the lorry was SJ 18 UEW. I hope the transport manager will see fit to discipline him.

This is not the first time I have had to complain about Yuill and Dodds drivers, during the miners' strike, I was forced off the A737 between Beith and Dalry by one of their trucks which came round a bend completely on the wrong side of the road, driving like a Jehu, presumably on piece work.

When will these cowboys learn?

On 25th July I was tailgated on the M 73 by one of your drivers and when we reached to 50 mph zone he then got closer and overtook an continued to rocket down the M 73 onto the M 74 towards Bothwell services where there is currently roadworks.

The idiot didn't care for anyone else as he approached the roundabout at Strathclyde park and about half way down the hill the lights changed to amber and he was going that fast he couldn't stop and he went straight through the red light not caring if he smashed into any poor innocent person.

I called Yuill and Dodds and asked to speak to transport manager Mr Waddell who couldn't care less as he was asking what lane I was in which I replied I was in the left lane the slow lane he also said he was just over the speed limit but through the road works which is a 40 mph and Mr Waddell said he was doing 57 mph its funny as my cruise control was set at 60 mph when I joined the motorway which is a 70, the 50 mph in the 50 zone and 40 mph in the roadworks zone mmmmm
The limits are there for a reason and you and your drivers should be held accountable you need to work on your public relations and people skills

Just want to alert everyone to a very frightening experience I had when one of these lorries tried to push my car off the road yesterday.
I was driving alone along the M8 Eastbound when I encountered a Yuill & Dodds lorry driving in the lane next to me. Without warning and whilst I was side by side with the lorry the driver indicated to come over to my lane, even though he must have saw me there. I had to swerve into the next lane to avoid being crushed by the lorry - luckily the road was quiet and there was no other cars in that lane. I then overtook the lorry and indicated to return to the inside lane to exit the motorway. To my horror, the lorry followed me and again tried to push into the lane I was in, narrowly missing my car again.
Please be careful of these drivers who, I now understand from talking to others, have a bad reputation for this type of behaviour.
The management of this company really need to look at this as people are going to get hurt!!! Please stop employing these knuckle dragging psychopaths!!!
