I go to school here and I purchase a lot from this bookstore (clothes wise) only thing is that.. they are priceyyy!

We love paying thousands of dollars for books!

There is no parking at the street entrance and my husband cannot walk all the way around from the parking lot. Sadly, we didn't even get inside.

So to be clear, this is a campus book store. They sell text books, a few shelves of books, and more penguins merchandise than when Burger King kept pushing "Happy Feet" in our faces like it was suppose to be a box office hit. (No hate to Happy Feet. That dancing penguin made me address some serious childhood trauma. Thank you, Mumble.) But if you're looking for a legitimate book store, this place isn't it. I couldn't tell you if the text books are cheap because I disappointed my parents by dropping out of college with only one semester to go. (MUMBLE TAUGHT ME HOW TO EMBRACE MY DIFFERENCES, DAD!)

Got a little bit of everything in terms of YSU gear and has a Starbucks inside with over-priced drinks

I like the YSU variety of items and apparel. Books are not always too high.

I love it Youngstown University have more to offer down how to keep don't have to leave town you get that education

I just wish it was a real Starbucks inside that accepted my app

What a great little known University. Wonderful leadership, a wonderful large selection of majors, AND AFFORDABLE. This school has greast facilities, a complete large University curriculum and will not break the family budget, or leave the student in debt for half their life . Get in line to experience this wonderful institution of higher education.

They only cater to the students.... Think they should also have a better section for public

Starbucks at the Bookstore is the best. The Bookstore is very nice too!

Lots of great YSU pride gear, items and clothes... a bit pricey for sure though. Staff is just that, staff, there is no service and rarely stop what ever non job related task there doing to acknowledge you. Also understand that this is NOT a typical Barnes and Noble it is selectively a school book store guised under the name B&N

Great selection of YSU branded good. Very clean and well stocked. The cafe has a large selection and our drinks were made correctly and quickly.

Very little school supplies or educational materials in this huge space. Over abundance of expensive commercial products.

This new book store is absolutely beautiful! I wish they had this when I went to school here from 2009-2013.

Beautiful building. Love the Starbucks, though I wish there were more comfortable chairs near outlets, I hate the barstools. Good selection of supplies and merch but everything is egregiously overpriced.

I come here for the coffee! This is the only Starbucks around here. The bookstore look okay I guess?

Everything was so overpriced including the snacks and Foods, coffee and books but I don't know how these students can even live from day to day.

The book store is very clean and staff is helpful, as well as friendly. The will honor Amazon pricing if the item is shipping specifically from Amazon. There is a Starbucks located inside, which makes great coffee and even smoothies. There are also areas to read and study if you need a space away from campus. This is a nice spot outside of the hustle and bustle of YSU. Sometimes the students working aren't quite helpful enough but they are usually very nice.

It is too expensive and takes forever to get checked out

Good service knowledgeable people excellent selections quality products not enough parking police patrolling the area need to be more vigilant there are too many vagrants thief's drug deals and problems in a close area to such a great addition to the campus and Youngstown as a whole after all the majority of the people who come here are from YSU and are the next generation of leaders they should not be having to deal with those problems

Beware of return policy that will only give you a few days after the semester starts to get your money back. Also, if ordering online, they can change the price of the book after you ve already gone through check out to a higher cost. So, if you re one to shop around for the best rental or price per book and go with the cheapest route, avoid YSU bookstore because they can get away with changing the price. Safe yourself some grief and avoid them all together.

If you have a class that needs an access code this is not the place to buy it they are normal 40 to 50 dollars more expensive than just buy right from the website. Such as Aleks for some math classes. Other than that most books can be rented on Amazon for a much cheaper price. But if you're looking to buy Youngstown State merch then it's not a bad place to buy it as long as it's on sale.
