A great place for kids to interact with police stuff.
Youthlink is a good place for education in grade 6i i went there
Oh my goodness what a hidden gem!!!
The kids loved it!!! Its by donation and there is so much to learn and do.
This is not an all day adventure, plan about 2 hours
Very cool police museum. Its free and a good place to take kids. Even fun without kids too. But they need to fix the signs that says marjuana is illegal.
Awesome place! Well done! I love going here! Been here 4 times this month! :)
It is a amazing place to go explore and learn about what poilce do- what codes they use. It looks very nice and is amazing so I would recommend bringing your friends/kids over here. You also learn lots about online safety/bullying/etc.
Great place for kid camps. My daughter loves going here on pd days and summer camps.
Great place for family, especially for the young ones. Lots if interactive galleries.
A hidden gem for sure. Came across it online while I was looking for forensic classes for kids. Adults will enjoy the museum as much as the kids. It's very interesting, loaded with information presented in a very modern layout. Highly recommend
We were able to watch the K9 unit. The dog and his handler were amazing!
Great place Calgary's best kept secret more people need to know about this place.
Lots of interesting and interactive exhibits that the kids really enjoyed
Incredibly cool. Not really a place for tourists, unless you have an extreme interest in the Calgary Police Service. However, if you're a local, check it out. Bring your kids.
It was an extremely informative visit with lots to look at. The centre was divided into different sections, each section was just the perfect size to keep a child's attention span. We were able to sit in a police car, listen to a live radio stream of police activity, sit in a pretend jail cell and even do some problem solving in the forensics section. You can probably go through the centre in 2 hrs tops, which is perfect if you have kids.
Other things that impressed me is the amount of parking spaces available. The volunteers were super friendly as well. They walked around and presented us with tons of information. A must know, this centre is only open to the public on Fridays. Mon-Thurs is for school tours only.
Awesome experience! Lots of interactive features and generous staff.
Absolutely amazing museum full of the coolest artifacts from history. We loved it.
This is excellent facility in police headquarters it offers lot of information to youth regarding any criminal activities and good sound knowledge for children.
This place is fantastic. So much to see and do here.
Super cool experience for kids. Very informative. Knowledgeable and charismatic staff.
Fascinating venue with a lot of info for youth about what happens when we make certain choices in life. Helps us learn from the past and to appreciate the work that goes into keeping us safe. It is a sobering reality of some of the glamorized choices in life. Recommended to anyone wishing to know what goes into a life of crime and crime involvement.
What a fantastic place to bring your kids! I went on a field trip here with my son's class, and it was the most engaged and interested I have ever seen a group of kids. The staff were incredibly informative and fun, and the content was relevant and age appropriate. I definitely plan to take my kids back!!!
First class operations ,very proud of are city police ,keep up the great work and thank you for your service
Interesting experience! My kid loved finger printing and I enjoyed asking a real cop about CSI kind of questions I've had for ages!! :)
I am an aide for a family with a young child, and reached out to YouthLink as part of my "community helpers" topic! The officers we met here went above & beyond. From the moment I first emailed them they took initiative and inquired about the specific needs and interests of my kiddo, they answered all of my questions and were EXTREMELY accommodating. Our visit felt personalized, and it was evident that everyone here truly cares about what they do. My kiddo arrived very hesitant and cautious about the police, and left excited! I will definitely come back, as well as refer other families on my caseload. THANK YOU!
Great little place for kids, took my 3 year old who loved sitting in the police car and turning the lights on/off. Spent about an hour here. Staff were pleasant and very helpful
Excellent place for kids. They change it up weekly, so there is always something new. The kids have asked to go 3 separate times this summer
Went here for a field trip with my son's school, it was so much fun! They taught the kids about internet safety, drugs etc. You learn about all the different teams the Calgary Police service has like K-9, Swat, Hawks etc. We got to solve a real crime! It's free and open to the public Fridays & Saturdays!
