Youth for Christ of Northern Indiana is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to reaching young people in the region. With a mission to share the love and message of Jesus Christ, this organization has been making a positive impact on the lives of young people since its inception.
The organization was founded in 1944 by Rev. Billy Graham and Torrey Johnson, with the aim of reaching young people with the gospel message. Today, Youth for Christ has grown into an international movement that operates in over 100 countries around the world.
At Youth for Christ of Northern Indiana, we believe that every young person deserves to hear about God's love and plan for their life. We work tirelessly to create opportunities for young people to encounter Jesus through various programs and events.
Our programs are designed to meet young people where they are at - whether it's on school campuses, in juvenile detention centers or at community events. We offer mentoring programs, after-school clubs, summer camps and more - all with the goal of sharing God's love with those who need it most.
One program that we are particularly proud of is our Juvenile Justice Ministry. This program provides hope and support to incarcerated youth by offering Bible studies, mentoring relationships and other resources that help them turn their lives around.
Another program that we offer is Campus Life - an after-school club where students can come together in a safe environment to have fun while learning about God's plan for their life. Our staff members build relationships with these students so they can provide guidance when needed.
We also host several annual events throughout northern Indiana such as concerts featuring Christian artists like TobyMac or Lecrae which attract thousands each year from all over northern Indiana!
