Gave me a DUI for taking the same dose of methadone for 4 years which are backed up medical studies which show that medication has no ill effect in operating a car. The cop was very verbally abusive to me, I refused the breath test at first, I had drank nothing, not in 16 years. Because I didn't know my rights and when I got to the breath test again the same cop proceeded to deny letting me take it right then and there multiple times because he knew I wasn't intoxicated, all the while saying its too late to take the test even though we hadn't even started the test or paperwork yet while calling me names and being demeaning and aggressive to me All while I wrecked my car avoiding a deer and then ran into a dead tree causing no other damages accept to my car. Which I'm from Alabama and lived there most of my life. Someone had put my old tag that was expired on the car, it had no registration, or insurance. My brother had just bought the car 2-3 days prior so we could go to work and we believed by state law like in Alabama we had 10 days to register the car, get insurance. etc. We only had a bill of sale and title with the car. He bought the car a few days before all this happened so I had no idea what was in it from my brother, his friends, or the previous owners. They found 3 Xanax in the car that was a bag left in the car that had Advil and 3 Xanax in it that weren't mine but yet they still charged me with possession of a controlled substance. They never asked me if I needed medical attention that I can recall and I was stunned for some time and needed to go to the hospital. I was targeted by the cop that didn't like me or was having a bad day. I've never done anything in my life illegal, about to be homeless, I take care of two mentally challenged adults who cases are still open for disability. Now after being a model citizen, I will lose everything over crimes that I didn't commit. While I was still dazed from the wreck they made me take field sobriety tests which imo I passed easily. Can a Lawyer or someone please help me out. Now that I've lost my job because of this so I am now desperately trying to find one but is quite hard especially with the virus outbreak. Now I've almost lost everything over a cop who went way beyond his duties. Not only will I lose everything but the two mentally challenged adults will be homeless and have no one to care for them, Thank you, god bless, and I pray we get justice. We had two of the Mounted Patrol Officers and horses at our Fall Fest last night. They were GREAT! The interaction with children and families was wonderful. They were a great representation of our York County Sheriff's Office. Hope to have them with us again in the future.

York County helped backup a drug deal and put out a manhunt to get the girl's money and drugs BACK, all because the officers in York were friends with the female sex offender who called them for backup when she got robbed making a drug deal somewhere she had no business being in a family neighborhood. Since when did police officers protect sexual predators through there crimes? York is run by satanists it seems like when protecting pedophile drug dealers is the protocol in place.

Why do the offices at the detention center treat the inmates like animals ..My son was tazed, pepper sprayed, and his arm and wrist broken, and fractured and they have covered it up, removed the video recordings and say nothing happened. But the hospital has called me for updates on my son, and there are witness to this .. Sled needs to come in and fire everyone that mistreat the inmates. They have rights too.

Every interaction I have had with the York County Sheriff's Office staff has been professional and personable. They have been responsive and have gone the extra mile to help or resolve. Public service is a thankless job. Thank you very much for your service and sacrifices. We are grateful.

York sheriff department police officers are getting use to speed traps especially at night. They are hiding or parking in the middle of the road and cutting their lights. BE CAREFUL.

Do not apply to work here if you aren't the majority!!! I was the most qualified candidate for Correctional Officer position. I had every qualification they wanted (a black female) but they over looked my application and hired only whites!!! A state agency in a red state what do I expect? Very sad but i will definitely get my attorney to get to the bottom of this

Well folks, I am a 60 year old Veteran. I have long hair and a beard. I have to say, Our York County Sheriff's are just regular Guys when they talk to me, whether at the road side when I may have gotten a speeding ticket 1 or 3 times. Not just there when ya see them out and about in Town, I get reminded of being around My Proud Marines while on active duty.
The York Sheriff's I see and meet always seem to glow from Pride and Their demeanor is so Mellow and Professional. We are Lucky for the Sheriff who trains his folks with due and mutual respect. Yep, The York County Sheriff, is the Best Bunch of
