York County shelter program, nice place. The two photos with the red building and white trim is the nearby Shaker Museum. Which has a lot of shaker history. Which is a nice place to.

Went there 14 years ago. Place was a joke; run by guys who like to make you feel inferior about your alcohol and drug problem so they could control you. Hope those people are gone now. All they did was tell everyone that they didn't know. That the people they took in never had it as bad as them. Then they'd have me do dishes at the bakery which I loved, but the power trip they held over me about it was retarded. I think that they wanted to be lock up turnkeyes but didn't get the job so they work there instead. Good luck. Hope you got your act together.

Stick and pushy but if u want to get off the streets definitely better then walk in the shelter where u have to leave all day plus they drug test and they give u breathalyzer so great place to get clean and stay clean

This place is run by people who don t communicate with each other. If you ask a question, you get no answer, because they never know anything or you get a totally different response from someone else. Who are you Sutton believe? They wake you up at 6am for Med call with breakfast at 7:30am. The food is too salty which affects many people there with swelling of the legs. The portions are huge! Too much for the average person. Never any juice. The coffee is ok, but the coffeemaker probably hasn t been cleaned in a very long time. You have to do chores. I scrubbed pots and pans for a week and it killed my back. When I said something about it, I was told that I may have to do it again if my name came up on the chore list again. There is no respect for requests like this and they have people to leave if you don t comply. This place asks you to pay 30% of your income to stay in an old Quonset hut with possible mold. If you re sick and hacking up a lung, there are no masks to help protect the other residents. The germs just fly so that others can get the illness too. Overall animals are better treated by the SPCA!!!!

Very Rude people work there and also like to start problems for people. And dont do they job right.

As far as shelters go this one is the Hilton! Amazing staff and very helpful for rapid housing!

Animals are treated well clean place friendly staff need more donations and volunteers

While I have not stayed there, I work with their staff as part of Maine Region One Homeless Council. Only difficulty is distance from Biddeford and Saco.

The program is good. They do an excellent job providing service to our clients and the community. I like to get stuff at the bakery there, whenever I am in the area. They made the most awesome bread with orange, fennel and almond...but sadly, they no longer make it The other stuff they make is top quality as well...so I continue to give my support when I am able
