Stayed here for a weekend. Some cabins were full of spiders and scorpions. Not all cabin doors had locks, some had just concrete floors, and the mattresses were so thin you could feel the boards underneath. Great kitchen staff though. Very kind and quick to meet needs.

Pretty nice, staff seems cool, little surprised that I saw a lot of trash, old clothes, etc strewn about. The archery and rifle ranges could look better...very old and beat up looking. Pool is very nice. Main building is very, very nice. Volleyball court is awesome!
YMCA Family Camp is my new favorite thing. For less than the cost of ONE experience at Miraval, two adults and a child reveled in three days and two nights of family bonding bliss.
For $165 we all enjoyed a private, rustic, air-conditioned cabin, 3 squares a day with salad bar, snacks, clean filtered water throughout the property, a saltwater pool, caving, hiking, first-class horseback trail riding, rock climbing, rappelling, ropes course, zip line, campfire, art projects, archery, shooting & a whole lot of interesting, humble & talented humans.
My family so very much needed an affordable break from the rat race. YMCA Family Camp gifted us time to reconnect with ourselves and each other and nature. We shared stories and secrets and goals and didn't miss a second away from media - social or otherwise.
Now I wish I had taken photos and videos to share with y'all. But truly, we were just too busy and too joyful in the moment to think about documentation. ;) Luckily, many people have posted lovely photos of the facilities and some of the staff. That should give you a good idea of what to expect. The rest, is up to you. You can make this experience as life-changing as you can imagine. The stage is all set and waiting for you.
I'm an Oracle boy who now brings his kids out here!!! I love the camp and it's surroundings. My 8yo went to camp for the first time this summer, and has now assured us we HAVE to do it every year. Way to go Triangle Y, keep up your amazingness!!
Took my eldest to go to camp here. He loved it! Horseback riding, archery, swimming, zip lines, hiking. They had so many activities! From my perspective, it was a little weird getting to it, but when you finally get there it s pretty cool. They have the pool and volleyball court right near the front. They have the cafeteria on the second floor with big bay windows and Air Conditioning. His experience was a very good one. He already wants to go again.
