I joined at the Simmons YMCA when I moved here, around October 2019. I joined for the pool, which could have had more lanes open for lane swimming, but overall, it was nice. Locker room was fairly clean and staff was always super friendly and helpful.
I have been quite disappointed with the Y's customer service since COVID. I am not comfortable with going to the gym right now and wanted to cancel my membership. This has been such a difficult task. It is hard to reach anyone on the phone (long waits and frequent 'accidental' hang ups) and Simmons hasn't even been opened to go in and handle it in-person. Finally got the cancellation form, submitted it, got confirmation, and was still charged the y membership monthly fee.
While I'd give the facilities and staff 5 stars, their management leaves a lot to be desired.

Best gym I ve ever been to! Hand down, the yoga studio is like none other

By far my favorite Y around. Regardless of how busy it is, there is more than enough space and equipment to get a good workout in. The staff is very friendly, and the machines and facility stays clean. I love the dynamic of the outdoor track on the roof, as well as the crossfit on the bottom floor.. Great Facility!

Huge, litts to choose from and very flashy. I wanted to put on lip gloss and leggings before entering. They have SEVEN (7) floors! The kids center for child watch looked like a full service child care center. They even have a dry cleaners and towel desk. You can play/ enjoy all types of sports and classes. Then roll back out to your car parked in the parents with kids parking space.
Fancy Smancy - right? This was quick in and out trip for me. Did do too much.

Do not recommend. The staff is rude, power hungry and treat guests like infants. Half of the machines are out of service and many amenities are unavailable. Yet, memberships rise every year. They operate in direct opposition of CDC guidelines.

It s clean and has good equipment, but way too many people at all hours and has a crowded layout.
